Free 2010 Wildlife Calendar

You know Christmas is closer than you realize when the free calendar offers start popping up, such as this free 2010 Wildlife calendar. I’ve noticed that calendar freebies are like t-shirts – one in ten arrive and chances are it’s a size too big or year too late. If a 2009 calendar arrived on my doorstep tomorrow, I’d be the 19th most surprising thing of my day. And I lead a pretty uneventful life, so that’s saying a lot.

Free Redbox Rental Code

I had forgotten all about hunting for this month’s free Redbox rental code, so thank goodness for automated text messages! The code is T46T3Q7 and you’ve got until midnight CST tonight to use it.

If you’re new to Redbox, check out the Redbox Explanation Guide that covers all the basics of how to use the free rental codes as well as some personal tips & tricks I’ve discovered to help maximize your freebie movies.

Free Exederm Skincare Sample

EDIT: Unfortunately this freebie is no longer available.

When I’ve been walking to the bus stop before work everyday, I’ve been a bit surprised. I mean, its August and its in the 60′s outside! That’s not August weather, if you ask me. Then again, this is the first Midwest August that I’m fully experiencing, so maybe I missed it.

But this free Exederm skincare sample will definitely help with the dry winter coming up in another few months. Why, when I need a humidifier for each room of the house and a portable one too? Then you know you have issues…

Free Taylor Lautner Poster

I don’t know who Taylor Lautner is, but I’m sure some teenage girl would enjoy this free poster of him as much as Andy Dufresne enjoyed his Rita Hayworth poster.

As you can see, I don’t have much to say today… Maybe Goob will be around later with more…

Free Cheese Posters

Cabot Cheese looks like they’re trying to show how cool cheese is with these free cheese posters. To me, this makes perfect sense. I mean, if cheese wasn’t refrigerated, it wouldn’t be cool, right? I mean, duh?

Man, I’m so square sometimes…

Free Poultry Timer

When I first saw this free Purina Poultry timer, I thought it was a great way to tell when my beer butt chicken was done…

Until I realized it was for feeding the chickens and not me. Ooops?

Free Game of Bowling Today

The last time one of my friends and I went bowling, her remark was that I must be a serious bowler. I mean, with my name all etched on my ball and everything? I guess I made an impression, even if I sucked with only a 125.

But with this free game of bowling coupon for today, September 5th, well, there’s another activity for parents to bring their kids on for this labor day weekend. With no limit to number of people in a party with coupons, a family of five could just pay for some shoes and get a free game of bowling per person! Not bad at all, especially if you have a center near you.

With a few centers near me? Looks like I can just do a little bit of driving and get in more than just one game…

Free Abuelita Sample

I don’t shop much down the Hispanic aisle at the grocery store. Okay, that’s a lie because the Chinese food is down the same aisle and I’m Jewish, so next to the gefilte fish jar is my beloved chow mein. Needless to say, I’m not too sure what this free Abuelita sample is, but I know that its granules and not a tablet. Hot chocolate of some sort? All I know is that its free and there’s also a $.75 off coupon too that you can print to go with it, so that’s good enough for me!

Free Coffee at Borders

Borders is at it again and must know that with the holiday weekend? People are looking for things to do.

So with this free small cup of coffee coupon that’s good through Monday? I might have to bring a few, wait for some shift changes, and spend all day reading. I mean, I do have Saturday and Sunday off from work…

IS: Free Kids Home Depot Workshop on 9/5

Similar to the free Lowe’s workshops we’ve posted many time, there’s a free Home Depot kids workshop tomorrow (Saturday, September 5) where they’ll be making a … free bean bag toss?

Okay, usually they make a toy or something they can use, like a bird feeder, but this bean bag toss looks a little weak. Isn’t it just a board with a hole in it? Heck, I make those all the time! Granted, I’m usually trying to make something else entirely, but that’s beside the point.

The workshop is available to kids 5-12 and runs from 9am-noon. Call your local store to reserve a space.
