Office Max: Deals for Week of 10/18/09
Pocket Your Dollars put together a nice post of Office Max deals available this week, including a few items that you can get for free after MaxPerks Bonus Rewards. MaxPerks are Office Max’s version of a rewards program and are only available to businesses and schools, but they’re pretty lax on registration. For instance, I signed up for a business account for my home office, which pretty much anybody can claim to have.
These usually go pretty fast, so you might want to call ahead to make sure your local store has enough in stock.

I wish these were actually free and not credited to my Office Max card.
I don’t shop enough there for it to be worth it…
But, I guess if I buy the limit on all of them, that gets me close to half-way to my reward!
Does anyone know how long it will take to get the credit?
Matt, I believe that it takes around 7 days for credit to show up on your account.
I have had nothing but hassles getting credit for my purchases after signing up for the teacher program. Just be forewarned that you’re not necessarily going to get that credit very easily. And don’t believe the timelines they promote on their website. Customer service will tell you 7-10 business days if you call, of course mine didn’t get credited until I called them (after 10 business days). Hopefully my experience was an odd one, but I certainly won’t be recommending the MaxPerks program to anyone!
