Deal: Brita Water Pitchers $0.49 at Walgreens
Many Walgreens have Brita water pitchers on clearance for $8.49 right now. When purchased, they give out $3 in Register Rewards for a future purchase and there’s also a printable $5 coupon for any Brita system which brings the final price down to $0.49!
In order to get the coupon, look for a link in the “Go Green, Save Green” box. You’ll have to signup on the site for a free account and then you’ll be prompted to print out the coupon. Also, some people have mentioned that their local Walgreens were already sold out of the Brita, so you might want to call ahead.

FYI: My Walgreen’s do NOT have Brita Water pitchers on clearance. They are $22
Actually, if the store is sold out you can get a rain check and get that deal the next week.
Yep, mine had them too. They also had the brita and pur faucet mount water filter systems on clearance for $8.99 and you can use the $5.00 coupon on the brita faucet mount ones too.

I went to one store and called the others. They told me that they’d been on sale for quite a long time. Needless to say not one store had them in stock. But I did get a rice steamer for $5!

Those of you that actually got the pitchers on sale got a deal. I was told it the clearance was a mistake that they corrected the next day.

No clearance in PA or just across the border in Ohio. BUMMER!!!! But, I’m glad some of you hiffers got a deal- and this was a great one!!
What an awesome Christmas gift for the friend/relative who seems to have “everything”. And, we all have some of those!!!!
It would also be great for a gift exchange or a really nice hostess gift. Hostess gifts are a very sincere and kind way to say “thank-you for the invitation” and I think people under-estimate the importance of such things.
(Besides, it’s almost guaranteed that your name will be one of the first on the list for next years party!) LOL:)

The Walgreens near me did not have the Brita pitchers on sale. They do sell a Walgreens brand pitcher that was cheaper and filters were cheaper.
My walgreens in Maine had no such discount–31.99 was what they were priced at–any walgreens discount near Maine?
