Free Energy Conservation Kit from TVA

This free energy conservation kit from the Tennessee Valley Authority is only available to parts of AL, GA, KY, MS, NC, TN, and VA. However, I’m posting it because it comes with two compact fluorescent light bulbs, outlet and light switch gaskets, filter whistle, two faucet aerators, hot water temperature gauge, home thermometer, and a “How to Save” brochure.

I have no idea what a faucet aerator or switch gasket is, but they sound cool. At the very least, I’m sure they could help me with my time machine. So far I’ve built the core unit and perfected making the “BZZZZZZZZZ … KERPHEW!” sound with my mouth. I just hope time travel actually sounds like that. Otherwise, I’m just some doofus making a weird noise in a large metal box!

Goob- You should try to hook up with Doctor Who, maybe he could help out with the time machine. He might even lend you the Tardis or at least take you for a ride. But watch out for Capt. Jack he will jump on anything with two legs! HA! Good luck!

I couldn’t get this to load. I am able to go to the main page but once I click on the link to the free kit, it comes up that it’s not found. Anyone else have this problem?

It won’t recogonize my California zip code, or any zipcode near me. I think it must be for certain regions only. :/

I was so excited for this, but it didn’t recognize my VA zip code or any of the surrounding zip codes.

I’ve tried several zip codes in the Atlanta Ga area and OTP and no luck at all. Must be only the service area near the borders of Tenn.. Oh, btw an faucet aerator is that little thing which you find inside the faucet. It forces air into the water and slows down the usage without much notice or difference.

Durn…I wasn’t eligible. I live in Virginia right outside Washington, DC so maybe this is for more rural areas? But I tried my old zip code too and it didn’t work either….Hmmph. Good luck to everyone else cuz this sounds like a great one! I KNOW I could use a kit to save energy….and $$$ too!! :)
