I tell you what, dont buy Blockbuster stock cause its management not the best.

Kiosks thing with blockbuster was good but never matured.
Online thing was good but never matured.

Netflix is killing them with Online stuff.
RedBox killing them with Kiosk.

Actually, I recently talked to a Blockbuster associate about the Blockbuster kiosks and store closings (her store was closing, so there was no reason for her to lie) and apparently Blockbuster is doing great in sales, but they are removing their stores from areas which are more suited to use and efficiently stock/purchase DVDs from kiosks. For example, all the Blockbusters in Atlanta are closing down to be replaced by kiosks, but in Ohio all of the Blockbusters are staying open. Same with L.A. and most of Seattle. In rural areas though, you won’t see a kiosk for quite some time.

I work for them an they pay garbage minimum wages, and I’ve been here 3 years workign thru high school, 7 days a week just to get 40 hours… they are as bad as walmart I think.

I could make more selling junk in my parents attick on ebay lol

My closest blockbuster kiosk is 255 miles away. Too bad I can’t use this at my local blockbuster store!

RedBox & DVD Play are slowly putting Block Buster & Hastings out of business… the days of the 4.99 1 day rentals are soon to be history ^^
