Freebies and free stuff

Sometimes a freebie comes along that I know either Goob or I look at and think its too good to be true. Case in point? This free Spark energy drink mix or free Slam energy drink offer. I’ll be honest that when I first saw it last year (okay, okay, it was only this Tuesday, but it was last year), it seemed a little funky and almost too good to be true…

But now as I drink my mandarin orange Spark, waiting for my laundry to finish in the dryer before my wife and I head up to Chicago tomorrow and I feel awake, energized, and amazed that a freebie actually came in 4 days? Well, I wish I had another!

That scoundrel! Adam beat me to making the first post of the new year!. Oh well, here’s to 2010 having even more freebies than 2009 and I hope that each of you had a safe and fun evening last night. After the days surrounding Christmas, I decided to take it easy. As thanks, my liver has nominated me for a Nobel Peace Prize.

As for my first freebie of the year, I’ve found that if you enter the code CELEBRATE, you can get 50 free Disney Rewards Points. I’m not sure how long the code will last, so be sure to use it quickly.

I haven’t had enough to drink tonight, as you can tell. You can still make out my words, I can still concentrate and make words, and I’m not mistyping and taking a ton of time fixing my mistakes.

If I were to try to erase today with all of the alcohol in the world, well, I’m sure that this coupon for a free small cup of coffee from White Castle would be wonderful… especially because my alarm goes off at 8am, and I have to be on the sale’s floor at 10am…

And its at a moment like this where I’m so tired that I don’t know if the bottom of my beer or my bed is a better idea…
