Free Hot Prints Photo Book
Each month, Hot Prints allows people to create a free photo book and will mail it to them with no shipping cost. It’s a $6 value in all and the cost is supplemented with some adds in the middle of the book, but the ad pages are removable.
I haven’t made a book yet, but my sister did this morning. Despite my instructions to make every photo of me, I bet she included some of her friends or pets. Bleah. If she did, it’s going to be pointless for me to steal it! I hate getting outfoxed by a teenager.

I’ve done several of these books. Amazingly, there is no catch. It’s a paperback book, and the “ads” in the middle are for HotPrints and include coupons for up to 4 more free books.
It does take a little getting used to the customizable features, but once you do one or two, it’s a piece of cake.

My daughter tried to make one of these last night and ended up with a virus on her computer that was screwing things up royally. Thank God I knew how to fix it, but I know there are a lot of people out there that don’t.
I tried to create one last nite and failed miserably. The photos would not load.
Karla – Could you let us know how you fixed the virus? Maybe I got it too.
I couldn’t even sign up for this freebie. Nothing but a blank box shows up. The suggestions to fix this problem says to clear cookies, browser hx, &cache. I did all of this, & have the flashplayer & still couldn’t do anything. I will forget about this freebie, especially if there is a virus.
I signed up yesterday and I had no problems at all. It is a beautiful book.

I had the same problem uploading yesterday. I reduced the picture size to 800×600. They uploaded fine today. They have a valentine’s style book, hopefully I will receive it before valentine’s day next week. I did not encounter any virus problem.

Is there a limit to the pic size? Do we have to reduce the file size and will have a an effect on the resolustion of the pic printed?

I was a bit nervous about trying this, I am not that great with computers, but I did it and if I can do it, anyone can!!
Does anyone know about how long it takes to get these books? I ordered one about a week and a half ago in hopes it would be here in time for my mothers birthday, but still nothing.
