For today only, Starbucks is giving away free KIND bars at over 7,000 participating locations. The freebie’s nice, but I’m most excited over the invention of a food that changes moods. The way I’m feeling right now, it’s as if I ate a bowl of Rage Against Mother Nature for breakfast.
You may want to make sure your local Starbucks is participating before strolling in there.

One place I stopped said they hadn't heard of it; the other said she heard they were doing something at 11 a.m. (I was there at around 8:30 and wasn't going to hang around for 2+ hours), and when I phoned another place at 3 p.m., they said they were giving out samples, but they'd already given them all out. wtf
Yup no Kind Bar... all 3 starbucks I stopped by today said never heard of the offer, but 1 barista felt bad for me so did offer the sample. Sadly it was just a piece, about 1/5 of the regular bar. Oh well, it was worth me getting excited about before hand (though for not much).
I was at a starbucks in Milwaukee today...no Sample
at the store near me, the manager said she wasn't doing it. And she said it was only a peice as a sample not a bar. :(
This looks like a viral offer. None of the starbucks in NY are participating in this offer. I called a few stores and the employees told me that they have not heard of this offer.
