Freebies I’ve Received: Week 1
HIF’s 4 year birthday is right around the corner and yet I still get dozens of weekly e-mails asking “is this site for real? I think it’s a scam!” So, starting today, I’ll be uploading a photo each weekend of all the freebies I received over the previous week. Here’s how I started February off!

This week I got the Gold Bond Hand Sanitizer sample, the Dunkin Donuts Coffee Sample, the Nicorette gum sample, and the free Glad Trash Bag from Samsclub.com…. and that’s just this week.

When I first started sending for samples, I started a list of what I got, but I got so many things, I didn’t bother with a list anymore. Keeping track of what I get takes time away from getting MORE!
I got THREE oreo coupons…..don’t know why, I only signed up once…but who am I to look a gift cookie in my mouth
Let’s see… this week I got 2 samples of natural lubricant, some Pampers coupons and a sample, some OB tampons in a case (for the 3rd or 4th time), and probably some other small things.
Last week I got a Bounce dryer sheet, trash bag, 2 things of Playtex tampons, some joint medication samples, and probably some other things.
Week before that I remember getting some diaper samples and a Mossy Oak hat plus $10 Bass Pro Shop gift card.
I haven’t bought pads or tampons in AGES… I get so many free samples of them.
I’m pretty new here (Woman’s Day recommended the site), but here’s a list of the freebies I’ve received through tips and links on HIF (I’m keeping track now):
* Good Housekeeping magazine subscription (one year)
* Lego magazine subscription (two years)
* CBS Watch magazine subscription (three years)
* Oriental Trading Company 2010 calendar
* Free movie rental
* Free shipping coupon for a website
They’re real, but . . . companies can only offer the quantity they have, so we can’t expect to receive them all. It’s lots of fun trying, though!
lovin the oreo samples! My son loves the hat and we all enjoy the surprise arrivals each day. I’ve been snowed in for 4 days…no mail! I can’t wait to see what’s waiting for me!

I LOVE this site! I can’t remember now how I found it, BUT please note that I check it DAILY!!! & the savings/freebies are REAL!!! I’m glad you got your Oreo coupon….because that means I’ll be getting mine shortly too…YAYYYYYY!!! My little one is VERY excited about that (she’s 4, but please believe she knows about coupons & FREE!!! LOL). There is no way I could possibly keep up with the good freebies & deals you bring our way so THANKS! & now…..when I get off this site & on to FB I’ll be sure to become a fan because I’m pretty sure you’re on FB!
It’s not a scam. I haven’t had to pay for feminine hygeine products in over 7 months! Thanks Goob! And have a happy period.
It sucks living in WV. I only get about 1/3rd of everything I sign up for. In fact, so far of all the stuff I’ve signed up for in the past month. The only thing I have received is a Oreo coupon. I use the same shipping info for every one of them also. So I guess its just whether I get lucky or not hehe.
I’ve gotten tons of stuff since I started checking this site. Several magazines (Lego, Maxim, Tennis, Marlin, Popular Science, Auto Week), I got that camo cap, a New Yorker calendar poster, the Gretsch Guitar Anniversary poster, I got a bottle opener from somewhere plus boat loads of food samples and coupons.
This site is a kick!
Love Love Love this site! Found it sometime last year through Women’s World. Since I started my freebie odyssey I’ve received, coupons, a tshirt from Marlboro, granola, coffee, tea, cereal, tampons, diapers, trash bags, full roll of toilet paper
and so so much more. Keep’em coming Goob!

This site is for real. I got the free hat & $10 gift card last month. DH used it right away. I have received free bags, stickers, cups, hair care products. I will make sure to take pictures of my stuff I get in the future.
So far this year I mainly have received free mag subscriptions, which saves alot of money. Last year I received over half of the freebies I signed up for; I am one of those people who keeps up with the freebies I sign up for, simply by using a spreadsheet. The best freebies are the magazine subscriptions, clothing, food samples, dog/cat food, hygeine products, Christmas, birthday cards, & free music from amazon, & by using swagbucks which I learned about on this site. Most of the freebies that I received, I learned about on this website. This is my favorite freebie site; thanks for posting all of the freebies!
