HIF’s 4 year birthday is right around the corner and yet I still get dozens of weekly e-mails asking “is this site for real? I think it’s a scam!” So, starting today, I’ll be uploading a photo each weekend of all the freebies I received over the previous week. Here’s how I started February off!

This is the best freebie site. Most of the other sites you rarely get freebies but on this one I almost always get the stuff. Although, alot of freebies die fast but that’s not your fault.

Never doubted the freebies. I also have quite a collection. Wanted to add 1 thing about coupon sources. You mentioned Smart Source, but don’t forget Red Plum. Twixt the 2 you can save a nice carftul of cents each time you shop.
A scam? Have people never heard of free samples before?? Odd. HIF just compiles it all so very conveniently in one place every day. So appreciated! I got that Gold Bond hand cream/sanitizer sample (and now know I’d buy a full size of it — great stuff) and the Celestial Seasonings tea (which I’ll enjoy today after all this snow shoveling). Goob, you got the dried plums? I’ve tried twice and no luck. I did get the tea and the Gold Bond, though. Happy birthday and happy shoveling. Thankfully, my part of NJ dodged the bullet with just a few minutes of snow flurries early this morning.

This is a great freebie site. Each item seems to be researched well that I dont get a bunch of spam for signing up or that they have any catch. I am totally addicted and have all my friends, family, and coworkers hooked too.
Yesterday I got the free sample of prunes and my seven year old son devoured them. It was so funny. He is asking for more. I also recvd today in the mail an entire box of chocolate Cheerios through “Psst” and a bunch of $1.25 off coupons to share. That site and many others I have found through HIF have been great. I also very much enjoy the humor with each post! Thanks for all your hard work Goob!!

This site is totally legit! I’m normally a skeptic but love this site. No gimmics!!Just found it a month ago and I’m hooked! I’ve already got the free oreo coupon, buy one get one free egg coupon, free green tea sample in the mail, $5 toys r us gift card, and have much more on the way.
Couple days ago I got the Celestial Green Tea, some time ago I got the energy drink, and just today I got the free oreo coupon. That said, I’ve not gotten all the samples, but with where I live, I’m probably lucky to get anything at all.
this is one of the best sites out there…period…if poeple dont think its real..let them try the other sites….theyre come crawling back…heeheehe….PROMISE!!

This is an awesome site. A while back I decieded to keep track of much of a certain item I was getting. Over the past year, I have gotten what would be the same amount of a full bag of diapers, and an entire bottle of laundry soap, just to name a few.

I just found this web the other day & love it! I got my prunes a couple days ago, no Oreo coupon, PO closed today cos of snow. What ever happened to the Postal Creed??? My hubby made it to the PO today & they were closed!!! GREAT SITE!!!
I get my freebies all the time! It’s like Christmas when I get my mail. And I never get junk mail, aside from credit card offers, and I always get those! And I love the great coupons that come with them!

I love this site. I found this site by accident about a year ago and I tell everyone I know about it. My sister and I talk about it all the time and keep each other updated on all the new freebies that get posted. I can’t even count the freebies that I have recieved from using this site and like I said I only stmbled apon it about a year ago. Since finding HIF I have also found a couple of other so called free sites but most of the stuff on the others you have to complete so many sponsered offers yadda yadda yadda. This is the only freebies site that I have never been required to do that. Everything that I have got from this site was acctually 100% free.
I haven’t gotten my plums yet or my tea… now I’m all atwitter with anticipation!

Thanks for your wonderful site! I check it every day and have gotten some freebies, including the CS tea. Now, do you have any tips for getting the Yogi tea? I filled out the well wish e-card, and got an e-mail sent to myself. In the e-mail, I was told to click the link below and I would get instructions about how to receive the tea, but it just took me right back to the e-card page, with no place to enter my mailing adress. Please help.

Hi Goob! I especially like your site because you post virtually all of the truly free sample available without my having to scan through a lot of “scam-type freebie offers” and “dowloadable freebies”. I like getting free samples in the mail and coupons for free things—period!
If you were to take my recommendation, I would suggest you stop posting the listings of ordinary coupons in this freebie item (“Random coupons”) and downloadable freebies. At the very least, they should be in a separate item. If you start clogging this up with too much of that stuff, I, for one, will not be a happy camper!
There are other sites devoted to saving with coupons and combining them with store sales, and I also frequent those on a regular basis. Unless they are totally free, they should not be in this item, in my opinion. There are far too many “freebie” sites that are cluttered with junk. Yours is the BEST!!!!

When I first started sending for samples, I started a list of what I got, but I got so many things, I didn’t bother with a list anymore. Keeping track of what I get takes time away from getting MORE!
I got THREE oreo coupons…..don’t know why, I only signed up once…but who am I to look a gift cookie in my mouth
Let’s see… this week I got 2 samples of natural lubricant, some Pampers coupons and a sample, some OB tampons in a case (for the 3rd or 4th time), and probably some other small things.
Last week I got a Bounce dryer sheet, trash bag, 2 things of Playtex tampons, some joint medication samples, and probably some other things.
Week before that I remember getting some diaper samples and a Mossy Oak hat plus $10 Bass Pro Shop gift card.
I haven’t bought pads or tampons in AGES… I get so many free samples of them.
I’m pretty new here (Woman’s Day recommended the site), but here’s a list of the freebies I’ve received through tips and links on HIF (I’m keeping track now):
* Good Housekeeping magazine subscription (one year)
* Lego magazine subscription (two years)
* CBS Watch magazine subscription (three years)
* Oriental Trading Company 2010 calendar
* Free movie rental
* Free shipping coupon for a website
They’re real, but . . . companies can only offer the quantity they have, so we can’t expect to receive them all. It’s lots of fun trying, though!

I’m glad you got your Oreo coupon….because that means I’ll be getting mine shortly too…YAYYYYYY!!! It sucks living in WV. I only get about 1/3rd of everything I sign up for. In fact, so far of all the stuff I’ve signed up for in the past month. The only thing I have received is a Oreo coupon. I use the same shipping info for every one of them also. So I guess its just whether I get lucky or not hehe.
I’ve gotten tons of stuff since I started checking this site. Several magazines (Lego, Maxim, Tennis, Marlin, Popular Science, Auto Week), I got that camo cap, a New Yorker calendar poster, the Gretsch Guitar Anniversary poster, I got a bottle opener from somewhere plus boat loads of food samples and coupons.

This site is for real. I got the free hat & $10 gift card last month. DH used it right away. I have received free bags, stickers, cups, hair care products. I will make sure to take pictures of my stuff I get in the future.
So far this year I mainly have received free mag subscriptions, which saves alot of money. Last year I received over half of the freebies I signed up for; I am one of those people who keeps up with the freebies I sign up for, simply by using a spreadsheet. The best freebies are the magazine subscriptions, clothing, food samples, dog/cat food, hygeine products, Christmas, birthday cards, & free music from amazon, & by using swagbucks which I learned about on this site. Most of the freebies that I received, I learned about on this website. This is my favorite freebie site; thanks for posting all of the freebies!

I sent in for a free sample of Dunkin Donuts Turbo coffee about 2 months ago and still have not received it. I sent an email to their customer service department asking them where it was and I got a general reply giving me the website to get my free sample. Orignially it says it takes 6 to 8 weeks but its past that. Does anyone know how long it really takes or is it a scam?
