EDIT: They ran out of leashes sometime late Monday morning. Seeing as there are four days before this offer ends, I’ll keep checking their site to see when/if they get any more back in stock.

Between now and 02/19, you can get a free dog leash (with no shipping charge) from Snapfish, which is a retail value of $25.99. In order to score the freebie, here’s what to do:

  • Create a new Snapfish account
  • Click ‘your account’ then ‘redeem’ next to the dog leash offer
  • Search for ‘leash’ then build your custom dog leash
  • Begin the checkout process and use code PRESDAY to knock off the shipping charge

The only downside to this offer is that you’ll now have no excuse not to take your dog for a walk. I once tried training my older dog to take my younger pup on a walk, but that resulted in what can only be classified as a “catastrophic failure.”

    Worked! Except the picture I had of my friend’s dog was not the jpg. or whatever it said it had to be. So I used a picture of a sea turtle that came with my computer in sample pictures and it was the right type of file. I do not think my friend will mind if pic on leash is a turtle. Got the leash free and shipping free with code. credit card was not billed. Total was $0. Thanks!

    Upload a few photos of your dog or dogs. Search in the box for leash in the box. Click on th Dog Leash. You enter you infomation, then you have to enter your credit card or bank card credit card information with 3 digit code on the back. Use “PRESDAY” for the code. Then submit. Don’t worry your credit card will not be charged. My confirmation page came up the same as GOOB’s. This is really cool. Maybe I can use a new leash or sell this one on ebay with free shipping. LMAO!

    It is important to remember you have to create an account using the link provided. If you create an account from the home page it wont work. Seeing as we don’t have a dog yet I don’t know what picture i will use. Maybe one of our old dog.

    Worked for me just fine. Follow the directions and find a photo before setting up the account. You do have to enter a credit card number to get to the screen where you can redeem the presday code but then the total is zero. I hope this comes.

    If you receive the error, “You have exceeded the $10,000 user spending limit,” then type in your credit/debit car information. I attempted using my PayPal account but I received the message, but when using a CC it went through perfect!

    Buying the leash thru pay pal is not going to work, I did it with Credit Card and was very fast no trouble and not messages telling me that I have exceded the $10,000 limit, uff I got scared at first lol. I hope I will get it about 3-5 days.

    You can use your mac/debt card also. When I’m not sure of the trusyworthiness of a site I go to my local bank and buy a VISA giftcard for let’s say $50.00 then everytime I order something small online, I use this card. They can’t charge me for more than is on the card! Besides, my local bank DOES NOT charge any fees for buying the card, it’s totally free.

    Snapfish is a trustworthy site though, I’ve used them before many times. When there is a new freebie that’s TOO COOL to pass up….I just create another acct. using a different email address.

    Another thing I did was to take a pic of my free luggage tags (Thanks, Goob) and add that to the leash, that way if my dog ever breaks free from my grasp and doesn’t have his tags on his collar someone will see our name and address on his leash!! Cool-HUH???

    If you look in ‘your account’ there is a credit for a free leash there. It says it has no expiration date. Maybe when they get some leashes back in stock, those of us who didn’t get one will be able to!

    I ordered this free dog leash with free shipping only to get an email from Snapfish that they ran out of dog leashes but they will give you a free mug instead. Only problem…the mug cost $9.99..it’s free but they want to charge you shipping. Now the leash cost $19.99 with free shipping…the mug $9.99 with shipping cost…um….sounds like a SCAM. What does “Hey it’s Free” think about this offer?

    I did this on 2 different credit cards. They offered me an 11 oz. mug instead and all you have to do is chat with one of the customer service reps and they will waive the shipping charges.

    A mug is better than nothing I supposed but I really wanted the dog leash instead!

    I got an e-mail yesterday saying that because of “technical” reasons they can’t fill my order (something about not being able to access my photos.). Anyway, they did give me 50 free 4×6 prints, so it’s not a bad deal. I didn’t really need the free leash anyway.

    I have a feeling they just got overwhelmed by the response.

    I got that email about the error with my picture. I emailed them back when I saw that my picture was still there on their site. I asked what the problem was and told them it was imperative that I get the leash I ordered. They sent me an email asking which item I wanted for $19.99, but, I would not be getting the leash. So, now I just have to shop their site and see what freebie I get!

    i responded quickly and uploaded my dogs pic for the leash. i got was seems like a universal email the leash was no longer avilable(is anybody going to receive the leash). I was also told i could have the mug and did that(one operator stood her ground on the shipping charge so had to call back and was successful)
    Got the customary email my mug could not be completed they couldent access my picture for my mug(if anything they are consistent) as a server went down. DID it again and now i am waiting. will keep you posted

    Mine went through fine and then I received the email that they were all out about a week later as well. Sounds like they didn’t have a plan and just told everyone we are out. Wonder if any actually went out and if they had rules written on how many they were obligated to send….. bad planning, or no planning. Scamola!

    This is bull. Last time I use Snapfish for anything.

    I got the email saying they could not honor my leash order so I ordered the free coffee mug. On 2/22 got an email stating that my mug was on the way…great, right? Then on 2/24 got another email saying there was an error and couldn’t access my photo and my order was cancelled. Yesterday, I got my free mug. I don’t think they were prepared for this.

    Well, I am getting a photo calendar in place of this leash. I am still working on the free shipping, but it looks like I am going to get that credited back to my card too! So, now I have a great gift that was free! I snuck onto my Mother’s computer and got a bunch of pictures of her dog and made a personal calendar for her!
