This is only four days worth of freebies, as I haven’t checked the mail for Friday nor today.

Let’s see….this week I got a sample of “Sore no more”. I can’t remember the rest, but let me tell you a story: I went to my store “Meijer” and bought five boxes of Kelloggs cereal for $2.49 a box with $2 off special at the register, received a $4 off my next order coupon for buying 5 boxes, and used two $1.50 off 2 coupons and a $1.00 off one coupon, so the boxes (17 to 23 oz size!) were only 50 cents each! The cashier saw what I was buying and said, “Oh, did you know there are some of those marked down in the clearance section for $1.24 each?” I didn’t say anything, but I got a better deal! The deal is still going today if anyone has a Meijer’s!

dude, i bet your mail person hates you! Mine complains to me about carrying all my magazines and packages several times a week.
I got the same pop science mag this week. Also, I got the rouge & weight watchers mags in, & both had coupons in them, which was a welcomed surprise! Also, got the U.S. news & report, & vegetarian times mags this week. Today I got the uni super ink pen, & $4 off iams dog food coupon. My best freebie was 50 free pix which I scored totally for free at CVS. I uploaded my pix to their website, & chose to pick up @ store, so there was no shipping or tax. This was the second time I was able to do this. This was next day delivery, so this freebie was a $9.50 value!

I’m pretty sure that the mailman steals my samples. I still haven’t gotten my free oreos coupon!
Molly, I think my mail man may be taking some of mine too. I haven’t gotten some of the tea or coffee I ordered around christmas time (one was from wal mart, and I hear they’re pretty reliable).
But the Free oreo coupon had no indication of it being from Oreo or what it contained, so it’d be fairly hard for someone to know what it was. I didn’t know what it was and I was half expecting it. Still need to get the oreos though <_<

I still think my mailman intercepted my free Mars chocolate coupons. Among other things, I got a free sample of Kashi cereal with coupons inside for a free full sized box and three for $1.50 off. I also won two jars of Pace picante sauce that I will apparently get coupons for in 4-6 weeks.
My mailbox was pretty light this week. I received a sample of gold bond’s hand sanitizer and a poise kit. But i am starting to wonder if something is happening to my samples before they even reach my box? How long did it take you to get your Excedrin coupon? Because i signed up for it when you first posted the freebie but i haven’t received it.
I thought you said you were going to post the links of the freebies. Do you still feel you have the time for that?

Molly, & Trep: You are not the only ones to have freebies stolen by the postal service. Last year I receive a mailing from victoria secret for free panty & $10 off my purchase. There was suppose to be a card in the mailing, but either the mailwoman or someone in the post office took it. Luckily, victoria secret gave me the deal; the cashier even said someone in the post office probably stole it. Another incident of inner post office theft, & more serious, some post office employee stole my father’s medication that he receives through the mail from the Veterans Administration. They said that the post office would do an invesitigation, but nothing was ever done about it. Anything of value, someone will steal within the post office, if given a chance.
If you really believe a postal worker is stealing freebies, you’re crazy as a loon. I work for the Postal Service and trust me, at $31.49 an hour plus Federal Benefits, it’s not worth losing a job over a coupon or a gift card. Cameras are on all areas of the post office from receiving, to sorting right down to loading of the trucks. GPS systems are on our trucks, so if we would “stray” to our homes to stash stolen goods, the Postal Service would know about it. Ever think it was delivered to the wrong house? Or meds got lost? When packages, and yes, this includes medication are not labeled properly or have gotten wet to the point that the address can’t be read, they are sent back to the sender or put into the dead letter file where they are destroyed. If you really have no other life than to think your free Oreo cookie coupon is being stolen by a Postal Worker, you need to step away from the computer, get a job and pay for your cookies. You can brag all you want about what a great job you have and all about the great benefits you have and about how postal workers make “SO” much money that they wouldn’t steal freebies, but since postal workers make just so much money then you think they would hire more credible workers than what they do. I started getting freebies, then they stopped, then I started getting freebies that had been obviously tampered with (not just “damaged during handling). I called the main post office worker who told me to call the companies that were sending the freebies. I did, which they nothing to tell me. Then it snowed so I didn’t get mail for a Friday or Saturday (I live in the country). I was sitting on the porch on a Monday morning and saw the mail lady driving down the road. I though “oh yah! I get mail” but she didn’t stop at my house, but she stopped at the neighbors. So I thought that I didn’t get mail. Then I started wondering (I’m suppossed to get a W2 in pretty soon) so I called the main post office lady who told me “oh yeah you do have mail, but well the maillady still doesn’t trust the roads to drive on”. I know I should’ve told her “I SAW her driving down the road”, but I didn’t want to make a scene so I didn’t say anything about. Since then I still get mail that has been tampered with, but I can’t call every single company and tell them about it. Why would they seal a package then break the seal then send it to me? I followed proper protocol and told our main office so I guess I’m going to have to file an online complaint. I hate to get people in trouble but really? I would LOVE to make that kind of money and I wouldn’t mess with peoples mail and I would ALWAYS deliver.

Natalie, aren’t there occasionally stories about mail carriers who have dumped mail, and I’m not talking small amounts of mail at their homes or elsewhere, because they didn’t feel like delivering it, or for other reasons (theft)? It happens! So much for cameras and GPS,… having said that, I appreciate my mail carrier!
I don’t receive half of the freebies I sign up for. I guess they run out and don’t send them or they get lost in the mail. I doubt my mail carrier would be stealing my mail.
I just got back from Vietnam to be greeted with 6 or 7 freebies over the past week. Including my Drumstick bag!

Natalie, no one cares how much you make an hour or that you get benefits. We didn’t accuse you of stealing anything (But for some reason you are being so defensive as if you did…) And yes we have had problems with our postal carriers before. So next time you want to sit here and make statements, get your facts straight.
I got the free Excedrin coupon also and the skinny cow insulated bag. I also got my house party kit for Sandwich Thins. I also got 2 different kotex sample kits. This “waste of time” that I commit by signing up for free samples constantly… saved us hundreds of $$ around Christmas. I made up baskets for everyone I know with makeups and hair stuff and other pamper/spa type items that I had gotten for free. Plus using coupons and stacking them with deals, I made up candle baskets and such. We spent MAYBE $100 on 6 different women… baskets being WORTH $50 or so EACH. What a huge waste of time! (sarcastic)
Nina, the kleenex sample is four folded sheets of tissue in a little bag. Not exactly purse size but I did put them in there!

Wow it got heated in here huh? I have received many packages (if u can call them that) they were plastic bags w/a piece of a package and a note from the usps that said something like “sorry ur package was damaged during handling” lol,and this one time I ordered a $60 bracelet from qvc and the package was opened and voila the bracelet “gone” luckily qvc replaced it! Do I think my mail man is stealing from me? Gosh I hope not since I have talked to him many times and think he’s very sweet and cute too lol,and I don’t really think he needs my freebies lol but sometimes when things don’t come it can be frustrating and I have found myself wondering if something devious was going on lol especially when I see that others have gotten theirs but,this stuff just happens! Things are lost or never sent or possibly put in someone elses mail box……

I had registered for a Uniball pen offer and guess what I got in mail? An empty box. Wonder what happened to the pen? Maybe the mail clerk took it? Don’t know for sure but have heard that the mail dept is having a budget crunch and there are restrictions on stationary orders in the mail dept. So it is possible that the pen never made it out, I mean out of the post office.
You know what? Maybe they need it more than I do so whoever took it, hope they enjoy it. I am glad at least they left me an empty box to ponder.

I dont know how many packages & envelopes Ive received “opened” not just torn up during handeling (which you’d think if postal people where always HONEST and CARING our mail wouldnt get so destroyed either). Not to mention you do see it even on the news about mail carriers getting caught for stealing mail. I just mailed my Mom a letter last week & it still hasnt arrived…Lord knows where it could be right now!!

I personally think that SOME post office people just do not care if they put wrong thigs in wrong mail boxes. I don’t think they are stealing… at least I really hope they are not. But then, who really knows? We are all very different, if one mail carrier would never steal, who says the next guy wont? Just my thoughts…
Well, I love my mail lady. She has personally brought my mail to my door after a huge storm when I didn’t have time to shovel out my mailbox. And, today I got my Excedrin coupon! Yay.
Natalie: If I receive a mailing & at one time it was sealed, but when it was left in my mailbox unsealed, obviously someone in the post office opened the mail. Also, my father’s medication was stolen by someone in the post office. When he receives the medication he has to sign for it. Well, the post office employees knows a package from the Veterans Administration which requires a signature, must has drugs in it. When my dad received the package it was opened, but with no medication in it; this indicates that someone in the post office stole it. This is not lunacy, it is a fact that some post office employees are theives; I think it is a shame that federal employees will still from a veteran. For you to say that it could not happen, because of all the security measures that the post office has,
is ridiculous since it has happened to my father. Of course stealing prescription drugs is more serious than stealing anytype of freebie; my father needs the medication to stay alive!

Got my coupon today in the mail
Went to Krogers and found a 100ct bottle of Excedrin PM WITH a 2.00 off coupon attached for 9.99…7.99 after the coupon on pack
Got to the checkout and presented my 2.00 coupon with the free coupon, thinking it would only pay up to 5.99 and my balance due would be 2.00………….drumroll……..the cashier scanned the free coupon and it took the WHOLE TOTAL of 9.99 off…and the cashier let me keep the 2.00 coupon for my next purchase!! If you have a Krogers or Ralphs around you, it is definately worth looking for this deal or even at other bottles that are over the 5.99 amount to see if it does take it off for the full purchase price. I cannot guarantee this will work for everyone, but how awesome it would be if it does work! Good luck everyone!
Hey ang that has happened to me too,some cashiers just look and see that it says free and don’t bother to check if there’s a limit lol always nice when it happens but I settled for the 24 count bottle for $3.99 yeah it stinks cuz I like to pump the q for the complete coverage lol

Does anyone else get their freebies to a PO BOX ? This is my only option seeing that I live where there are STILL no 911 addresss. I sign up for the deals and also sign up for my mother(different address) and she seems to get hers all of the time and quicker than me. I think back to all of the things I have signed up for and never recieved. I fully believe that there are some crooked mail carriers and if you complain enough they will do a investigation with mail they can track. I really hope that the person putting my stuff in the PO box is not stealing but it is awfully suspicious and its weird that I still get all of the tampons and pads but none of the fun stuff.

I just found this website, and while quite impressed with the wealth of information out there I’m floored how being greedy has turned into a game for you, and many who frequent the website By no means am I a tree-hugger, but your photo of the week 3 freebies really disgusted me. All of these items take valuable earth resources to make, valuable earth resources to ship, and valuable resources when disposed of (Did you think about that when you threw the plastic wrapper for that “body and Soul” magazine in the trash?).
I think your website is great, but how about promoting the concept of being conscious of the imact these “freebies” are making on damaging the environment AND the earth. Anyone with children (or a shred of intelligence for that matter), should really be asking themselves before they request any items is “Do I really need this?”, and if the answer is no, do the right thing and pass. THAT is the ultimate in being a smart shopper! Remember, recycling is fine, but if something isn’t manufactured in the first place, there’s nothing to recycle.
Think about it. The next generation will thank you for that.

Received my Free Excedrin Coupon in the mail and cannot find anyone who will acccept it. Even the stores that accept printed internet coupons! Oh well. Glad to see others are at least able to take advantage of it.
