Free Renu Multi-Purpose Contact Solution

EDIT#2: Janice pointed out that the link is working again.

I’ve never understood why this free Renu Multi-Purpose contact solution was labeled as multi-purpose. What else are people using it for other than storing their contacts? Are they cooking with it? Using it as a stain remover? I really want to know what else this stuff can do!

Thanks for posting this! I am going on a lot of vacations this summer and I buy my contact lenses solution from Costco…which means it comes in huge bottles and is a pain in the ass to transport.

When I first started wearing contacts there were 3 different products you had to use to clean and store contacts, one for cleaning, one for rinsing, and one for storing. The multi-purpose is used for all 3 steps. A little education for your Monday morning..LOL!

It can be used as a nasal rinse. My daughter has Cystic Fibrosis, and a drop in her nose helps break up mucus, to be suctioned out ;)

this is good because this stuff is expensive, but the best one I found was OPTI-FREE RepleniSH. Thanks

You can use contact solution to turn powdered eyeshadow into liquid eyeliner. It works pretty well.

It won’t bring me to the page to request a sample :(

I hope it’s a no-rub solution. The only problem I really have with B&L’s ReNu ( other than the fact that a few years ago it made a bunch of people go blind ) is the fact that their stuff requires rubbing the lens for 10 seconds, and mine rip after about 3 days of using a solution that requires rubbing.

That’s why I stick with the Wal*Mart brand at $6. for two bottles. The Opti-Free stuff is great, but costs almost $13. for a bottle, too much for me.
