Free U by Kotex Samples

Kotex is rocking with yet another unique free U by Kotex signup form. It looks like this freebie not only comes with a few samples, but also a cool tin carrying case.

There’s even a PMS quiz to test your knowledge on the subject. I always say nothing goes with freebies like PMS! I say a lot of stupid things when I’m drunk though, so you should probably ignore me.

Free Hot Prints Photo Book

Free Hot Prints Photo Book

It’s a new month, which means everybody can order a free photo book from Hot Prints. Judging from the comments the last time I posted this, most Hiffers got theirs within a month and loved them. I’m sure I could find a comment that didn’t like it, but then again, that’s the case with everything I do.

Somebody in my family will probably even boo me while I’m hunting for Easter eggs this Sunday, but that might have something to do with the fact that I’m 27. Hey, you don’t want me pushing kids over? Then don’t hide the chocolate all over your yard, just give it to me!

IS: Free Kids Home Depot Workshop

Free Home Depot Kids Workshop

The next free Home Depot kids workshop is Saturday, April 3, and the kids will be constructing a free butterfly house. I guess I’ve never really thought where butterflies sleep. It looks a bit like a suggestion box. Wait, do butterflies sleep in suggestion boxes? Then what did they do before corporate America came along? Man, the world is a confusing place. I’m glad I never leave my home.

The workshop is available to kids 5-12 and runs from 9am-noon. Call your local store to make sure they are participating.

Free Dr. Scholl’s For Her Insole

This free Dr. Scholl’s For Her shoe insole signup form was having all kinds of trouble yesterday, but it looks to be working now. I think it’s silly that they’re only sending out one insole, but maybe I’ll change my mind when I start hopping around on one foot.

That’s an exceptionally lame joke (I don’t even think it’s a joke), but it was my backup option. Plan A was to joke about how Dr. Scholl is a fictional character who isn’t a real doctor, but then history had to get in the way and prove me wrong. I hate it when I’m foiled by facts!

Free Orville Redenbacher’s Popcorn

Free Orville Redenbacher Cheddar Cheese Popcorn

Sorry to all my New England, Midwest, and west coast readers, but this free Orville Redenbacher’s cheddar cheese popcorn is only available in 17 mostly southern states (Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and Illinois are the outliers). I try and post freebies that are available to at least half the country, but being the giant popcorn addict I am, I can’t pass this up.

And now let’s get to the part where I see how many postal abbreviations I can remember off the top of my head. This offer is valid in AL, AR, GA, IL, IN, KY, LA, MI, MS, MO, NC, OH, SC, TN, TX, VA, and WV.

EDIT: Good news! Here are some more additional links for other states.

Food 4 Less: CA, IL, IN, and NE
Fred Meyer: AK, CA, ID, OR, and UT
Fry’s Food: AK, AZ and ID
Gerbes: MO
King Soopers: CO and WY
QFC: OR and WA
Ralph’s: CA

Free OK Magazine Subscription

Free OK Magazine Subscription

EDIT: This offer has expired.

There’s a free OK magazine subscription available, but it can be tricky qualifying for it. I ended up getting it by saying I work in communications / television. What? We’re communicating right now! And…uh…I’m sure there’s some way to read HIF on a television.

After you get the confirmation page, a pop-up will appear asking you to take surveys and crap. Just close it.

[thanks Stephen!]

Free P&G Everyday Solutions Samples

Remember that Proctor and Gamble Everyday Solutions let’s you request freebies once a quarter (every three months) and since it’s April 1, the new quarter has begun. You can hold off on requesting anything today in a gamble to see if they’ll get something better later. But if you do sign up for anything today, you’ll have to wait until July 1 before you can do so again, so make sure you request everything they offer!

To make matters more frustrating exciting, some accounts see different freebies. Case in point: I can get free Cascade ActionPacs, but others can’t. It’s like playing Let’s Make A Deal with freebies! What’s behind Door #1? Is it free dish washing detergent or a goat? Actually, in that scenario, I think I’d take the goat.

Here’s a list of everything I was able to request.

  • Pantene shampoo
  • Cascade ActionPacs
  • $1/1 Tide Plus Febreze Freshness
  • Prilosec OTC
  • $3/1 Tide Stain Release
  • Pink Lemonade Flavor Metamucil
  • Iams premium cat food coupon
  • Iams premium dog food coupon

Disney Rewards Update

A lot of Hiffers had their Disney Rewards account blocked over the past few days and for that, I am extremely sorry. Many of the codes I posted were old codes that their system was mistakenly accepting due to a glitch when they moved to their new site. Fret not, however, because the blocked accounts are completely reversible.

  • Call Disney Movie Rewards at 1-866-246-8646 any time Mon-Fri from 9:30 to 6:30 CST
  • Press 0
  • Explain to them that your account was blocked because you accidentally typed in an old code. They’ll need your name and e-mail address associated with your account and you should be unblocked within 24-48 hours.

All told, the process is pretty harmless and took me about 5 minutes from start to finish. Again, I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience! I try my best to properly vet every freebies posted on HIF, but every now and then something like this slips through the cracks.

Free Butterfinger Bar

Free Butterfinger Candy bar

EDIT: They’ve all been claimed!

The first 100,000 people to file a claim for “Butterfinger insurance” will get a free Butterfinger candy bar. Knowing some of my friends, this will be the first type of insurance they’ve ever signed up for.

They released this offer on their Facebook page, so you may have to become a fan in order to qualify for this. You know what, just to be safe, become a fan of HIF as well.
