I wish coupons existed in all areas of life. Whenever you need a little extra help or fun, you can just bust out a coupon and – POOF! – instant awesomeness. For example, I could use an “Extra Day off From Work” coupon, an “Eat Nothing But Ice Cream and Not Get Fat” coupon, and a “You’re Going to Eat My Cooking and LIKE It!” coupon. In the meantime, these random coupons will have to do.

This free Playtex Gentle Glide from Walmart should be just what I need to put the finishing touches on my homemade hang glider. I’ve been slowly building it ever since my first failed launching 15 years ago. I thought my childlike sense of wonder and imagination would be all I needed to soar off my roof. Gravity disagreed.

I can’t cook noodles, let alone lamb. But if you know your way around a kitchen then consider getting this free Australian Lamb cookbook from chef Sally James. It’s a 28 page cookbook, which means there’s bound to be a dozen or so different recipes.

I didn’t even know you could cook anything a few dozen ways. I thought everything came in either raw or burnt flavors.

Arm & Hammer has offered free toothpaste through different links for years now. I reminded you about one last March and since the freebies are a bit slow today, here’s a reminder to check out truetasteofclean.com.

I have no idea why you have to copy and paste the link in order for it to work, but you do. It makes about as much sense as using an actual arm and hammer to clean your teeth.

One of the best things about summer, beyond the nice weather and being able to wear my thong, is that freebie companies tend to hold promotions for months on end. Last year, Mars gave away millions of free candy bars and Arby’s had a different free food offer every week.

This year, Jose Cuervo kicked things off and now Nivea is jumping into the fray. Starting today, they’ll have a Happy Hour promotion every Thursday on their Facebook page where they’ll give away a coupon or sample for one hour only. Seeing as how it’s called Happy Hour, I’m guessing they’ve invented some sort of alcohol based lotion.

Since it’s only an hour long, it won’t make sense for me to post it on HIF every week. However, I’ll post on our Twitter and Facebook feeds, so be sure to follow them if you want to stay in the loop on this freebie!

Sam’s Club is giving away free Dove hair shampoo. You know, as opposed to feet or elbow shampoo.

You need a Sam’s Club membership number, but one little trick is to use nine random numbers. Unscrupulous? Maybe. Challenging for me because I always lose count of how many numbers I’ve typed? You betcha!
