Freebies and free stuff

Tomorrow’s free Lowe’s Build & Grow Clinic takes place from 10-11am and they’ll be building a free Trellis Planter. I take it from the photo that it’s a tiny window box for flowers. I’m not really certain as I don’t have much of a green thumb. I swear the last time I went to buy a plant, a few of them moaned “nooooo, don’t let him pick us!” and tried to inch their way back onto the shelf.

As usual, space is limited, so you need to register on-line beforehand!

From now until June 30, you can get a free personalized photo mousepad at Rite Aid. These normally retail for $12.99, so it could make for a nice present.

• Scroll down and click on Fujifilm.
• Click the box that appears on the right and then watch the 98 second video.
• Click on the “My Rewards” tab on the top right.
• You’ll see the photo credit. Now just print out the coupon.

You can then either bring the coupon into your local Rite Aid or create the mousepad online and pick it up. I couldn’t decide which photo to use, so I went with one of me opening my mouth as wide as possible. It’ll look like I’m trying to eat the mouse and… okay, fine, I’m easily amused.

Last week they were giving away panties, this week the cami; pretty soon we’ll have an entire free outfit. Us guys will have a hard time explaining why we’re wearing it though. Like Bruegger’s on Facebook and get a coupon for a free bagel and cream cheese. Their store locations are a tad scattered, so check to see if you have one nearby.

I like how step four of their freebie process says “enjoy the best bagel of your life!” Do people actually remember the best bagel they’ve ever had? I’ve probably eaten hundreds and they all tasted virtually the same to me. Well, almost all of them. There was that one I ate which turned out to be a toy bagel made of rubber. I knew it was a bit too chewy, but I didn’t want to waste any food!

Remember the free Oscar Mayer turkey bacon post from two weeks ago? Well, if you were like me and didn’t receive the offer through Kraft’s First Taste, then you might want to log in again and recheck. I did so today and the coupon was showing up for me!

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m taking the rest of the day off to go hunt for a wild turkey pig.

It’s the first time in my life where I have a beer supply within walking distance and…*sniff*…I’m pretty sure this is the American Dream everybody is always talking about.

Ellen Degeneres is finally offering some freebies for humans in the form of free Nivea Happy Sensation body lotion or Touch of Happiness body wash. While I think I’ve done a great job of not making fun of freebies lately, I do have to ask: Nivea, what’s going on here?

“Want to get happy?” is your tagline? Plus, are these girls really that happy over Nivea soap? I’m guessing it’s not so much to do with their clean skinas it is living in a house with a giant crystal chandelier. And the chick on the left isn’t even looking at the camera. It’s right in front of you! Come on!

Any Texas Rangers fans out there? I’ve got one thing to say to you: boooooooo! Hey, stop mocking my horrible ghost impression. I’m not trying to scare you, I’m trying to trash talk.

Of course, I still want you to get two free Texas Rangers tickets.
