Free Sherman’s Travel Magazine
One thing I was recently reminded of is that traveling can be expensive. Maybe I’ll spend the rest of my summer thumbing through my free subscription to Sherman’s Travel magazine. There’s no telling how many lazy days I’ll dream about traveling to mystical places like Angkor War, Zanzibar, or Hoboken.

I hope this is free! LOL
Thank you for your subscription order.
Your first issue will be mailed in 2 – 4 weeks to:
Cheers
Hoboken!??!!? As a Jersey girl I don’t think I’ve ever heard Hoboken described as “mystical” LOL.
Hope it’s free too. Make sure you read any paperwork that comes with your free subscription so there’s no bill for future shipments. If so, cancel quick.
How can they make you pay? No CC info.
I get tons of freebie mags, and never once has there been a hassle. Or “paperwork”. At most, you’ll get a card asking to extend your subscription, but you get that even with paid subscriptions.
Wolf,
One time I went to Food Network to enter something and I thought I was going to get a free Food Network Magazine and next thing I know.
1. I got the Magazine
2. Two a bill asking me to pay for it via check or credit card.
So the fact that they have my mailing address at home, they sent me a bill.
I never paid or cancel cause there was no phone number to cancel. I could not do it at the website.
Anyhow 3 mails in a row was threaten that they would send my record to the credit union and after that I never heard from them and my credit score still good. “LOL”
Regards,
Chris
Sometimes those things are worded cleverly to make it seem like you’re getting a freebie, but as I said, “How can they make you pay? No CC info.” You can’t be reported to a credit bureau without providing credit card information.
My personal rule of thumb for “freebies”: Don’t provide more information than what you can find in the phone book.
Looks free to me. I just can’t remember if i entered my address or not! I hate getting old! LOL
you’d think people would be smarter and use a *made up* name….. I guess Chris was not given the gift of thinking ahead
I have gotten Sherman’s magazine free in the past as well. I believe they are united with American Airlines in some way. At any rate, this is a legit offer and you shouldn’t be suspicious.
Does anyone know if this is an offer to a printed copy of the magazine or only the electronic version because at the end of the form, it says “Yes! Send me Sherman’s Luxe 15 e-newsletter”
Thanks
Thanks! I love to travel and i love travel magazines. Especially FREE ones!
