Possible Two Free Reach Toothbrushes
Walgreens has certain Reach toothbrushes on sale today for $0.99 which, when combined with the $2/2 Reach coupon on Coupons.com, makes them free! My Wags was already out by the time I got there and some people have reported that it didn’t work for them, so I wouldn’t go out of my way. Still, if you know you’ll be passing by one of their stores this afternoon, it might be worth a shot.
Additionally at Rite Aid, Reach double packs are $3.99 with $3 in Single Check Rebates (SCR). After the coupon, you end up paying $2 and can send off for a $3 rebate check. You’ve got until tomorrow, June 12, in order to make this purchase if you want to qualify for the rebate.
This is the deal I ended up going with (as well as my first time doing a SCR), because I finally realized making a dollar was better than free. Three cheers for public education!
SCR is a great way to stock up on all kinds of items. My cabinets are full from this program! Wait for the items to go on sale and use coupons to get the maximum benefit.
Don’t forget that you can request a raincheck and get them the next time your in the store…before you coupon expires of course. Or keep your eyes open…these toothbrushes often go on sale for 10/$10 at Kroger.
Walgreens often features Reach toothbrushes and/or floss for $.99 but the one I shop the most won’t let me use a $1 coupon on a $.99 item! Bummer!
Walgreens is a difficult store to deal with. When you had the coupons for $1 off Bayer aspirins and $5 off Bengay posted they told me it was coupon fraud!!! They had the aspirin on sale for 99 cents, Bengay for $4.99 BUT they took the dollar off coupon, not the other, and said if they took it it was fraud and they would lose their job. Certainly wasn’t consistent since they took one not the other! Difficult difficult store.
Thanks for this one! I go through so many toothbrushes it is insane! But at least i don’t have ‘yuck mouth’….
Yeah I just used it and ended up paying $.05 for 2 toothebrushes.

ATTENTION WALGREENS SHOPPERS!
To get items for FREE at Walgreens when you there is a store coupon and you have a manufacture coupon that is one-cent more than that price, you must have the cashier SCAN THE MANUFACTURER COUPON FIRST. Then scan the store coupon. Otherwise, the register will beep and the manager will be summoned. The Wags coupon policy is to let the manager decide how to proceed. If you scan in the correct order, it goes through with no problem. You also have to buy something else so the grand total is not negative.
Our Walgreens won’t honor a coupon that is for as much as one cent over the price of the item even if I buy other items so that the total is well over the amount of the coupon I’m using.
I had this issue too! SOOOO here is what I did! The cashier said the error message that came up is “coupon value exceeds transaction amount’ because when I used the coupons they rang up as the $1 off. So I grabbed a box of Cracker Jacks for 50 cents as part of the transaction and it went through fine. BTW the manager was a snot about it all and said the coupon won’t work on ANY Reach toothbrush so I had to point it out that it says ANY. She also said they can’t adjust coupons down so if anyone has had a manager adjust it down I wish I had your manager. Mine was lazy!
Even if they adjust the coupon down, they still get reimbursed for the face value.
Walgreens tooth brushes are on sale not the reach ones so it doesn’t work same with the asprin one so good job just kidding
I didn’t see a coupon on that site for Reach toothbrushes. I looked thru all the coupons.
I got 7 for free. i had to call ahead to make sure they would price adjust my coupons, plus 2 childrens chewable bayer asprin for free
Hello all. I work for walgreens. The coupon policy SHOULD be the same at all Walgreens stores, however they are not. If you call corporate, they’ll do whatever to make you happy, and call the store manager and inquire why everything wasn’t done to satisfy the customer. At my store, we “price modify” the manufacturer coupon, so it doesn’t exceed the value of the item, that way the store isn’t doing anything wrong.
