This free tin of California almonds has been around in one form or another for a while now and if it’s anything like that one I got a few years back, it’s pretty nifty. It’s the perfect size for a pocket or purse, but my problem is I have nothing to put in it. I once tried using it as a super mini flask, but the wet stain on my jeans was enough of an announcement that I didn’t really think the plan through.

I confused this free Maximum Strength Zantac 150 with Zyrtec and wrote a funny post about how I haven’t needed any anti-allergy medication so far this year. I’m just happy that I realized my mistake now instead of later. It would have stunk to have taken it only to be sneezing up a storm minutes later. But hey, on the bright side, I wouldn’t have had any indigestion!
Seeing as how we’re only a few weeks away from July, I wanted to remind everyone about the Proctor and Gamble Everyday Solutions program. If you’re new to the site, it’s basically a system that allows you to request a batch of freebies once per quarter. For a few days now, there’s been a promotion on YouTube for a free Gillete ProGlide razor. They only give out 20,000 a day, but you’ll find the link about halfway down the page on the right. If you miss out today, just try again periodically or check out HIF’s Facebook page where Hiffers have been pretty darn good at posting when this is available.

I hope everybody is able to enjoy their free donut today because I’ve found the perfect companion – free Starbucks VIA ready brew coffee! Of course, we have to wait four weeks to get our sample. Just stick your donut in the fridge for a month. I’m sure it’ll be fine to eat over the 4th of July weekend.

In celebration of National Donut Day (it exists!), Dunkin Donuts is giving away one free donut with any beverage purchase on Friday, June 4.
Also, Krispy Kreme will be giving out one free donut of any variety with no purchase necessary. They have a list of their site with all of the participating stores, so it might be worth checking that out before leaving home.
EDIT: Hiffer Richard wrote in that Lamar’s Donuts are also offering a free original glazed donut tomorrow. Score!
