If your first reaction to Cookies By Design’s free flip flop cookie is “what the heck is a flip flop cookie?” then shame on you! I don’t care if they were giving away free tire iron cookies, a cookie is a cookie. Of course, call ahead to make sure your store is participating.
If you’ve never heard of this company before (like me!), then maybe this tiny Wikipedia blurb will help: “Cookies by Design is … one of the largest gourmet cookie retailers in the US.” Yeah, that’s pretty much all I need to know.

The store I called said they weren’t given notice of this promotion or a cutter to even make the flip-flop cookies so there seems to be a lack of communication/planning from the corporate office.

got the flip flop cookie thanks very good! In Bellevue,WA she said promo ended the day I got it the 23rd. I added my email to their blast list & got an auto sign up email for 6 free cookies! It is nearby. Sorry Azzuriwave! LOL.
