Free Backpacks at Staples

If you’re in the market for a new backpack (that sounds like you’re investing in their stock or something), then be sure to head to Staples for free backpacks after rebates. You’ll end up getting a Staples giftcard, so this works out best if you already shop at Staples to begin with.

    When you go to get the backpack you can also grab other items like pens and what not for 1 penny (you have to spend 5 bucks to get the offer but the backpack is over 5 bucks) so even better deal…. well thats what i did anyway :)

    We got our daughter’s backpack yesterday, along with the other deals. I submitted all the rebates today and the total after rebate comes to about 52 cents! I’m sure we can find uses for the gift card evenutally – it never expires and has none of those annoying ‘deductions’ for nonuse.

    This is great! Bought a sturdy High Sierra backpack yesterday for $49.99 (original price $99.99). Also bought Bic pens for a penny (limit 2) and gel pens for a quarter after rebate (limit 1). I can use the gift card for ink for my printer. Thanks Staples :)

    I got one last year and was able to pick up a nice computer tote bag that wasn’t a backpack. I plan to get another one, along with cheap office supplies.

    not to rain on your parade or anything, but office depot has a similar offer. If you buy $10 in school supplies you get a free back pack.

    fyi, for anyone who is a teacher and has a teacher rewards card, instead of the limit two on the 1cent deals you can get up to 25!!!! Isn’t that a great deal or what?????

    I bought a backpack for$ 89.99 (normally $120,) 2 packs of the paper that is a penny after rebate,10 packs of the penny pens (teacher), 2 of the 3 packs of tape ($1 each with coupon) and 2 print cartridges for my printer. They gave us a coupon for $30 off a $150 purchase. We will get $89.99 back for the backpack and $9.98 back for the paper. So, we will end up paying $30 for everything after rebate.

    My local Staples store (Greeneville, Tennessee) said the gift card they send you is actually a prepaid Visa card (which you could use anywhere). Does anyone know if this the correct information?

    Rebecca, I just submitted my rebate online and it said you get a Staples gift card. They did the same thing last year. The good news is that it doesn’t expire, and you don’t have to use it all at once. Many of the other Staples rebates are prepaid Visa cards, but not this one.
