Before I worked across town, I used to always pass by a Wienerschnitzel Hut. I wanted to head in and try it for lunch, but I never did. Something about it scared and intrigued me all in one, but I just couldn’t pull myself away from my usual bar-b-que joint to do it…

Maybe now I’ll have to head in and use this free chili dog coupon sometime before it expires and see if the mental suspense that I built up over a German named hot dog eatery was worth it…

Costco’s free Biotrue contact solution offer is back and this time they aren’t requiring a membership ID. Every morning and evening I wish I didn’t have to wear contacts and instead could get lasik. Then I remember the last time I pointed lasers in my eyes and get skittish. Turns out I’m not a very good surgeon.

There are two freebies available from Sam’s Club: a free ProForce fall cleaning kit and a free ProForce floor care / cleaning pack. They require a nine digit membership ID, however you can sign up for both freebies.

I love their little message on the confirmation page. “In the event that there is a delay in shipping your sample, we may notify you by the E-mail address provided.” Has anybody ever actually gotten one of those?

I’m not sure what free Scope Outlast toothpaste is outlasting, but I like its moxie. I have a feeling it’s not going to outlast every Hiffer trying to request a sample though.

Just like vampires and werewolves, pancakes and waffles are locked in a never-ending battle of breakfast domination. When one seems to have the upper-hand, there’s no telling what sort of death blow the other will deal to it.

Take for instance this free iHop pancake club offer. You get the instant gratification of the pancakes now, but then? You get them again on your birthday. And then? On the one year anniversary of you signing up! Its a triple whammy! I’ve yet to see a waffle offer of any sort. Looks like pancakes are starting to triumph again!

I’m seeing double with these two free Del Taco Chicken Tacos for signing up for their fan club. The next thing I know, I’ll be waking up with Jennifer Lopez by my side, singing about how much I love Ben, but I love tacos more…

The random category doesn’t do this freebie justice. With options for a free notebook, hangtag, magnet, or brochure for heart failure, grease fire, osteoporosis, or breast self exam (not in order of item and ailment), the options are as scattered as my post!

I know it’s late and past lunch for some people, but for the rest of today, Wednesday, September 15, you can get a free chicken leg or thigh, warm tortillas, and salsa at El Pollo Loco. All you have to do is bring in the coupon to your nearest location and you’re good to go.

It’s part of their celebration of being in business for 30 years. It got me thinking about what I’m going to do for HIF on its 30th anniversary. I’m guessing nothing as we all know aliens will have enslaved us by then.

Some Hiffers say their local Blockbuster kiosks never work. Yet my family members love them and yell at me whenever I don’t post a free Blockbuster Express rental code. Sometimes I think that’s all I am to them; some amorphous blob whose only purpose is to bring them freebies.

Well maybe things will change when they see I’m posting code WDVD1 just for them! It’s good for today, Wednesday, September 15 only! So, to my loving family members, use it before midnight and stop sneaking out of the restaurant every time I go to the bathroom.
