Free Christmas Music from Target

As if it wasn’t enough that I just heard a techno remix of Ella Fitzgerald’s “What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve” at work the other day, now Target is giving away this free Christmas music sampler. To me, there’s something wrong about most of these songs on here. Then again, they can’t be as wrong as a combination Taco Bell and Pizza Hut, right?

5 Free Hanukkah Cards from TinyPrints

EDIT: It worked for me when I first tried it, but others have had issues, so just watch to see if it works for you, but we’ll call it dead for the time being…

So with tonight (because when most people will see this, it’ll be on the Wednesday newsletter) being the first night of Hanukkah, usually I’d have it all planned out. I mean, the dreidel all ready to go (magnet under the table so that I always get Gimmel, check), some latkes all fried up (extra oil, check), and even some gelt (or just a few Butterfinger bars in its place, check). Instead? I’ll admit that I’m working that night and a little behind.

That’s why I’m glad that I can get 5 free Hanukkah cards at TinyPrints.com for my family and friends by using the code LATKE at checkout. Sure, sending them to myself to ensure free shipping means that it’ll take a little longer to get them to family and friends, but my people took 40 years to cross a desert, if I take 40 more days to send out a card, well, what can I say? I’m penny pinching here!

Freebies from Chili’s, Whataburger, & Starbucks

Chili’s, Whataburger & Starbucks are doing some sort of daily freebie offer in celebration of Christmas. Or “the holidays.” Or heck, maybe just my brother’s birthday, who knows.

First up is Chili’s Holidaily Specials. Get it? Holi-daily? Haha, oh boy, whoever came up with that deserves a raise and/or beating. The offers change every day through Christmas Eve and you can only use them on the day they’re offered. For instance, today’s offer is a free brownie sundae, so if you’re eating dinner at Chili’s tonight then you can get a free dessert.

The 12 Days of Whataburger campaign is decidedly longer than 12 days. From now through Dec. 22, you can get a free coupon emailed to you. They had some good freebie coupons with no purchase necessary last year, so you might want to sign up for this one.

Finally, Starbucks is giving away a deal a day starting tomorrow, Dec. 1, via text messages. You’ll have to text 12DAYS to 29943 and afterwards you’ll get a text message with whatever special they have for that day.

Reminder: Donate Free Clean Drinking Water

Just a handy reminder about the P&G Give Health offer. For anyone who missed it last week, they’re trying to give away 100,000 days of clean drinking water by the end of 2010. For every person who enters their email in the widget below, one donation will be added. To sweeten the pot, for every 1000 Hiffers who give a day, P&G will give me a $50 gift card to give away. We recently crossed the 1k mark, so that’s one gift card for sure! What say we make it a few more?

If you enter your email above and “Click to Donate Water,” then you just gave 2 liters of drinking water to somebody in a developing country through P&G’s Children’s Safe Drinking Water Program. Feels pretty good, huh?

Free Pillow Scents

I’m the type of guy who can fall asleep anywhere, anytime. I’d argue it’s one of my best skills, right up there with balancing a spoon on my nose and burping the alphabet. Luckily we have free pillow scents for anyone not quite as blessed as myself. Apparently pleasant smells help you sleep better, which is news to me. My room smells like … you know what? I’m not gonna finish that sentence.

Free Pretty Elizabeth Arden Eau de Parfum Spray

Oooooh, look at this fancy free Pretty Elizabeth Arden Eau de Parfum spray. You know it’s high class when the language morphs from English to French. As a matter of fact, I now want to be known as Ryan Goob $*@&. It’ll be annoying saying “pardon my French” every time I’m introduced, but it’s the only French word I know.

Free Karo Recipe Booklet

I’m stuck in traffic and testing how to write posts on my phone. The only thing I’ve learned is that I’m just as unfunny while sitting in the middle of a highway as I am from my couch. It’s unfortunately because I was looking forward to blaming this boring post about free Karo recipe booklet on car fumes.

Free Matrix VolumaTherapie Shampoo

I expect to know kungfu after using this free Matrix VolumaTherapie shampoo.

Free Wendy’s Fries

As if it wasn’t enough that I’m already on a bit of a food overload and we’re all facing giant turkeys and tryptophan comas, now there’s this coupon for a free Wendy’s fries with sea salt when you join Wendy’s Mail. If you ask me? All of these food coupons would have been nice a week or so ago, before we even had a turkey to think about…

EDIT: Link’s been updated…

Free Atkins Bars and Starter Kit

After Thanksgiving, I know that many people might start thinking about a new diet. For me? With the ice that we’ve had recently, I’m regretting that I’m so in love with Great Harvest Bread’s Virginia Rolls and their Stuffing Bread. I mean, so many awesome carbs, so little time to run them off outside!

That’s what makes this free Atkins bars and starter kit link a little more enticing (other than it being our same old offer with just a new link): limited carbs to help me stay a little thinner this winter. Sadly, though, I love me my Great Harvest Breads just a little too much…
