Reminder: Donate Free Clean Drinking Water
Just a handy reminder about the P&G Give Health offer. For anyone who missed it last week, they’re trying to give away 100,000 days of clean drinking water by the end of 2010. For every person who enters their email in the widget below, one donation will be added. To sweeten the pot, for every 1000 Hiffers who give a day, P&G will give me a $50 gift card to give away. We recently crossed the 1k mark, so that’s one gift card for sure! What say we make it a few more?
If you enter your email above and “Click to Donate Water,” then you just gave 2 liters of drinking water to somebody in a developing country through P&G’s Children’s Safe Drinking Water Program. Feels pretty good, huh?

I have a very slow dial-up connection and can’t see the widget. Too bad P&G didn’t take that into consideration. I’m sure I’m not the only one with this issue.
I have a fast connection and don’t see the widget. Just a demo that shows how the packet cleans water. Maybe the widget only appears with certain browsers.
For those of us who are un-tech savvy, any idea how I can save the widget as a favorite or do I need to come to this site everyday (that I can remember to!) and click?
I also sat through video demonstrations hoping that it would lead me to the ‘donate’ section but with no luck.

What are you guys talking about? All you need to do is put your email in the box above and then click confirm when you receive the email. You don’t need to watch a video or even visit the site.

Hmmm no place to put my email, they must have reached their goal. Very cool product, this is the first time I’ve heard of it!
I just added a few more of my email accts and it took each one. You have to refresh the page after entering each email. I have 17 email addresses and I entered each one today, and will enter them all each day until they end it. I entered most of them yesterday, but did not have the complete list with me then.
bet p&G is getting a lot of email addys………… why do all this -just donate the water?
