Freebies from Chili’s, Whataburger, & Starbucks
Chili’s, Whataburger & Starbucks are doing some sort of daily freebie offer in celebration of Christmas. Or “the holidays.” Or heck, maybe just my brother’s birthday, who knows.
First up is Chili’s Holidaily Specials. Get it? Holi-daily? Haha, oh boy, whoever came up with that deserves a raise and/or beating. The offers change every day through Christmas Eve and you can only use them on the day they’re offered. For instance, today’s offer is a free brownie sundae, so if you’re eating dinner at Chili’s tonight then you can get a free dessert.
The 12 Days of Whataburger campaign is decidedly longer than 12 days. From now through Dec. 22, you can get a free coupon emailed to you. They had some good freebie coupons with no purchase necessary last year, so you might want to sign up for this one.
Finally, Starbucks is giving away a deal a day starting tomorrow, Dec. 1, via text messages. You’ll have to text 12DAYS to 29943 and afterwards you’ll get a text message with whatever special they have for that day.
I tried the Whataburger a week ago and it was broken. Glad to see its fixed. Thanks for the links.
Also, is anyone else getting “Service Access Denied” when they text the starbucks number?

I work for starbucks and starbucks is not giving away anything for free. it is the ’12 days of sharing’ and each day we have a deal. it is alot of buy one get one on select products. and then some merchandise is discounted a good bit for that day, but we were told to be super secretive about it. I was not told anything about customers being able to text any number to see what the deal was.

Starbucks…Dec 1…When you buy a handcrafted drink 5 cents goes to the global fund to help fund Aids in Africa. Also, if you click on the present by the snowman/penguin (on the website), it will take you to a link to watch a video by The Killers, and Starbucks will donate 5 cents to the same cause.
WOW!!!!! 5 whole cents on a drink that costs around $5.00 (for the one I like!!) Can they afford such a HUGE contribution??? Get a grip.
Besides, I’d much rather help the sickly/impoverished/abused children right here in the good ‘ole USA!!!!
The only thing in Africa I would consider donating to would be;
clinics and/or workshops who teach about abstinence and/or pass out some form of birth control.
