Freebies and free stuff

Hey Hiffers. I had some major surgery yesterday and will be taking the next day or two off from posting, emails, and the sort. I might try getting a few posts up this afternoon if my laptop plays along (what a perfect time for my battery to die!), but I apologize in advance for any freebies we miss while I’m off in Never Never Land. Please do me a favor and play nice while I’m gone though. Taking the time to delete batches of inflammatory comments is even less fun than it sounds.

I never understood the guys who drooled over the hot rod magazines with the girls on the cover. To me, it seems sort of silly. I mean, they’re just cars, right?

But man, oh, man, get Dweezil Zappa off of the cover and just give me the guitar and that alone is enough. So you’d better believe that I hung up plenty of pictures from things like this free Guitar Player magazine subscription all over my room and locker. Don’t judge me for having 7M3 on my wall, even if it was the old promo shots with Jason Pollock!

If tea is for two and two is for tea, this free Genesis Today tea coupon on Facebook begs the question if its one for you or one for me?

Seeing I don’t have a Facebook, I can’t really answer that one…

I’ve personally never used free Avery White shipping labels before because they lacked the ever important Trueblock Technology but … wait. Could it be?! The sample has Trueblock Technology?!? Oh man, I need to have a seat and take a few deep breaths.

Yes, these free Go SMiLE Touch Ups are actually spelled in all caps minus the i. Why? I can only guess because they hate me and want to see me suffer.

You don’t even have to be smart; I only got two questions correct. It’s like kindergarten all over again.

If you have a pack of Orbit gum lying around, then use the code on it to snag a free pair of tropical flip flops. They’re the perfect footwear for the approaching winter as long as you don’t mind frostbite.

Offer expires 12/31 and the fine print actually says you can get three pairs of flip flops per person, per address. There are a lot of six digit codes floating around, such as 074941, but I have a feeling that the more people who use the same code the less likely it’ll. Still, can’t hurt to try if you don’t buy Orbit gum.

Hey, it’s a Freebies Received post four days late! This is what I get for scheduling flights, meetings, appointments, surgery, family gatherings, and multiple road trips all together in a 10 day span. Today, I’m sitting here next to an open window with a nice 70 degree breeze blowing. Yesterday? I wore my UCF hoodie in to work. The day before? I had on a light fleece jacket. As far as it seems, I’ll probably be able to wear plaid shorts and a pink Polo shirt. The weather is just downright crazy, if you ask me!

So maybe if I’m lucky, these free flip flops from Orbit Gum (just use any of these codes, or your own lot number if you have one: 224870, 224860, 224840, or 074863) will come before the snow hits the ground, and I’ll get some use out of them too. With the way the weather’s been? Who knows!

Mark your calendar! On Tuesday, November 16, Jack in the Box is giving away two free tacos after 2 pm because … Jack is messed up on laughing gas? Works for me.

You might want to contact your local store to make sure they’re participating. Trust me, there are few things in life that hurt worse than thinking you’re about to get two free tacos and then having that dream ripped away. Then again, I lead a pretty sheltered life, so what do I know?
