Free Downloadable Childrens’ Stories

One of my fondest memories growing up was receiving cassette tapes from my grandmother of her reading books for me and my sister. I still have them, and while I’m sure I lost half of the kids on here who have no clue what a “cassette tape” is because they’re trying to fit an 8-track into their iPod docking station to listen to Winger, well, they can at least download some of these free childrens’ stories. Although I’m sure that “How The Leopard Got Its Spots” isn’t quite as thrilling as “Purple Haze.”

I mean, it is Winger we’re talking about here…

Adam, I’m sure that some might have taken the Purple Haze to see “How The Leopard Got Its Spots”

I’m 20 and I’m proud to say I know what a cassette tape is, I still have one, Blink 182- Dude Ranch. lol. Even more awesome, I know what 8 tracks are. lol.

Hope the tapes hold up. Alas, that medium tends to disintegrate. It’s a real treasure worth backing up somehow.
