Free Blockbuster Express Movie Rental
I know some people like to open a Christmas present a day or two early, but I’ve never understood why. You have one less present for Christmas now! Where’s the fun in that? Fortunately I’ve got you coved. On Thursday and Friday (Dec. 23 & 24), use code thanku to get one free Blockbuster Express movie rental. Your guess is as good as mine in figuring out what they’re thanking us for, but I like to think it’s for our beautiful smiles and sparkling personalities.

Folks just to note if you use this code just be careful on the date cause its 23rd and 24th so if you got to return it on 24th or 25th, make sure the place is open.

Just tried the ‘thanku” code with no success

Used it once this morning. Worked, no problem. Tried it again two minutes later (different credit card) and it didn’t. No luck on a couple tries this afternoon either.
I’ve seen these codes not work and then work again later. My guess is that if their network connection is temporarily down so it can’t verify the code, it just says it’s invalid.
Worked for me at the 24 hour Safeway but you can return it to any kiosk.
Same here work one time and not another.
Yes blockbuster wants to compete with Netflix and redbox, better improve that network if they want to come out of death.

Code worked for me. If store is closed and you can’t return it, call the 800 no. on the disc cover and they’ll waive the late charge!
Just wanted to clarify my #2 post (12/23/10 @ 7:20P):
‘thanku’ would not work for my ‘Hot Tub Time Machine’ reservation, but did work fine for my “Salt’ reservation.
I contacted BBEx who could not explain the HTTM rejection!
P.S. ‘Salt’ was the Bomb! Highly recommend!
