Freebies and free stuff

One of my fondest memories growing up was receiving cassette tapes from my grandmother of her reading books for me and my sister. I still have them, and while I’m sure I lost half of the kids on here who have no clue what a “cassette tape” is because they’re trying to fit an 8-track into their iPod docking station to listen to Winger, well, they can at least download some of these free childrens’ stories. Although I’m sure that “How The Leopard Got Its Spots” isn’t quite as thrilling as “Purple Haze.”

I mean, it is Winger we’re talking about here…

I had only two hours of sleep, and while I want to do nothing more than just to curl up into a ball and sleep, like the cat on my lap right now, I know I can’t until I finish the dishes. I would just kill for a regular schedule right about now.

So maybe this free Dulcolax sample for a printable coupon would help me with some of that regularity… sadly, not the sleep part…

Heck yeah! I’ve missed freebies that require a super secret passcode, like these 15 free Broadway songs on iTunes. I once tried password protecting my family’s refrigerator, but my siblings quickly grew bored of me talking in a robotic voice and denying them access.

Watches, sunglasses, and computers are the hardest *bleeping* things to clean absent a free Yema microfiber cleaning cloth. I’m always scared I’ll scratch them and forever be reminded of my moment of stupidity. Let’s get one thing straight, Universe, I don’t need any extra reminders from you. I’m the guy who wakes up at least 10 times a month and thinks “Dinner! That’s what I forgot to do yesterday!”

It’s that time again! P&G Give Health want to give away 100,000 days of clean drinking water by the end of 2010 and by now we all know how this works. I’ve already received the three $50 gift cards we earned in November, so I’ll probably start giving those away this weekend

I won’t lie, I was hoping this free 2011 Team Interstate calendar would be some sort of weird collaboration between a bunch of random states. I don’t know what kind of calendar South Dakota, Arizona, and Delaware could put together, but I have a feeling they’d certainly have to give it away for free.

A boatload of Hiffers have emailed asking if I’d post this free personalized video from Santa again and I don’t mean some piddly canoe. We’re talking about gigantic cruise ship boatload. Every third email seems to be asking for me to post this, which is actually a nice break from the letters I typically receive. You’d think being told how handsome I am every day would be nice, but it sure can get tiring.

Last month’s free Purina One pet food from Walmart is back. It might take a minute for the free offer link to appear, but you can go straight to it by clicking the little circle with a 3 in it. You get to pick a sample for either your dog or cat, which is bad news for mutant dogcat owners out there.

Sadly enough, one of my favorite things about every job I’ve ever worked has been my name badge. I feel a sense of pride and accomplishment with it, especially when I get extra flair to add to it.

As if it wasn’t enough that we found the cat food sample yesterday, you can now get this free Wellness pet food sample. And I can vouch for it being good because its what our cats eat.
