It just hit me that I’m one week away from actually running this series for a full year. That’s 11 months longer than any Vegas odds makers gave me.

  • Jan. 14, 2011 issue of Golf Week magazine
  • Jan. 24, 2011 issue of Barron’s magazine
  • One weeks worth of Wall Street Journal newspapers

Did I really only receive publication freebies last week? Has that ever happened before? We need an official Freebie Historian around here and I nominate anyone not named Goob.

    Lately, all I have been receiving is magazines. Today is the first day in about 2 weeks that I received a freebie that was not a magazine. I like all of my free magazines, but I have a stack of magazines that I haven’t read yet! So, the freebies I received last week-magazines, too many to list!

    There’s week s I didnt get any freebies glad to say last week wasnt one of those I received: Betty crocker 2011 calendar, hydro peptide serum one was empty the other small amount,Purina one beyond coupon for free bag,luna bar,and Gucci guilty perfume sample. :-) and one of WSJ!

    if i remember right, i also signed up for ebony and jet mags when signing up for men’s health…but have yet to get men’s health, and have gotten 2 issues each of ebony and jet..anyone have any ideas?
