InStore: Free Bath and Body Works Sample This Weekend

For me to say that it feels like forever since I’ve been on here, that’d be an understatement. I mean, after going through the holiday season in retail and finishing up our inventory? I felt like doing NOTHING for this month.

Alas, before I get too lazy and too late in completing things, I might as well make sure I post this free Carried Away sample for Bath & Body Works coupon just before it expires on 1/23. So if you’re reading this sucker on the newsletter? You’ve got a few hours till your store closes…

Free Ego Tea

There’s a free Ego tea sample available of China Sencha tea. I have no idea how that differs from regular green tea other than it may or may not originate from China. I should have totally followed my dream to become a detective.

Free 9 Month WSJ Subscription

If the previous free 6 month subscription didn’t interest you, how does a free 9 month Wall Street Journal subscription sound? No? Come on, RewardsGold really wants you to start reading this. Though if it was up to me I’d get everyone a subscription to The Onion. You can’t beat articles like CIA Realizes It’s Been Using Black Highlighters All These Years or God Angrily Clarifies ‘Don’t Kill’ Rule.

Yes, I realize there’s a shorty survey on what type of business meetings you have at work. You have to admit it’s actually more relevant to the freebie than most of their crazy surveys though.

Free Maggi Chicken Flavored Pasta Soup

EDIT: Looks like we polished off this offer.

This free Maggi chicken flavored pasta soup sounds like chicken noodle soup without the chicken! Mmmm, just like Mom used to make.

If you’ve signed up for a Nestle freebie in the past, chances are you can log in with the same info you used before. I love freebies that save me the 10 seconds it takes to type my address out. Those are 10 seconds that could be better well spent exercising or watching an artsy documentary.

[thanks to everyone who sent this in!]

Free Cover Girl Natureluxe

EDIT: They’ve run out of sample.

Walmart has free Cover Girl Natureluxe foundation. How is this different from other foundations? Well for starters, I wouldn’t build a house on top of this any time soon.

Free Blockbuster Express Rental Code

Free Blockbuster Express Code

I’m running out the door (stupid errands!) but I wanted to get at least two freebies up today before the newsletter so here is a free Blockbuster Express rental code. I don’t have a pen and paper nearby, so I’m just going to have to remember MRC37H until I get to my local kiosk. Odds of that happening: 0%.

It doesn’t expire until the end of February though, so that’s nice.

Deal: $20 Amazon GC for $10

EDIT: This was a one day offer, so it’s now dead.

I have no idea how they can afford to do this, but for the next 19 hours you can get a $20 Amazon gift card for $10. I buy stuff on Amazon all the time, so I snatched one of these up and sent a link to all of my friends letting them know about it. I might have also mentioned that my birthday is next month and casually remarked that some Ghostbusters sheets would look pretty rad on my bed. Fingers crossed at least one of them gets the hint!

Freebies Received: Week #50

Freebies from Hey, It's Free!

As we all know, the best way to stop taking pictures with too little lighting is to have way too much lighting!

Freebies Received

If you guessed that I’d already worn my Avery name tags around town, then you know me well.

Free John Frieda Shampoo

The previous free John Frieda shampoo offer this month was limited to certain states, which was pretty annoying. But not this one! It’s open to everyone in the good ol’ US of A. From Maine to Portugal, from Nebraska to Africa – everybody gets a sample! Okay, I admit, I tended to sleep throughout Social Studies as a kid.

This is actually an older request form, but it’s still up and running. If you get a message saying you’ve already requested this, use the name and email of someone else in the house.

Free Lacoste Pink Perfume Samples

Call me crazy, but neither Joy of Pink nor Touch of Pink sound like perfumes. How can you smell joy or a touch? While I ponder this great philosophical conundrum, you can sign up for either free Lacoste pink perfume samples and be thankful you’re not wasting valuable brain power on this.

EDIT: Oh, you’ve got to be kidding me! The pink perfume samples are for the ladies. Us guys can click on the “male fragrances” button to get a few manlier options. Whatever. I’ll wear my Joy of Pink with pride.
