I never enjoyed a Texas Roadhouse birthday freebie despite there being a location right down the street from where I grew up. The reason? I was 20 before I learned “outhouse” and “roadhouse” didn’t mean the same thing.

Today Hanes announced the launch of their Comfort Rewards program where customers can enter codes found on Hanes products to earn points and yada yada. You know how this works. To kick things off, they’re giving 20 free points to anyone who signs up before 9pm EST tonight.

Hopefully they’ll be as liberal with their codes as Huggies and Pampers are because there are prizes as cheap as 25 points. If not, oh well, I could use a little incentive to buy new socks. I tend to get my money’s worth and wear them until I can’t even tell which end I’m supposed to put my foot in.

Today marks the third time this month I’ve written a post for this free Elle Decor magazine subscription from RewardsGold and %&#* if I’m not publishing it before it flipping dies again. I don’t even remember what jokes I made the first two times. Probably one about somebody named Elle already decorating my place and another referencing whatever was going on in my life. It most likely had to do with coffee, alcohol, or my dogs. I live a riveting life.
