Free Tide Stain Release

EDIT: All the sample have been given away!

If one botched giveaway isn’t enough to satisfy your raging needs, then make sure the kids are in bed and you’ve had a bottle of wine by 9pm EST tonight. That’s when Tide is rereleasing their free Tide Stain Release.

To their credit, they acknowledged to screwing up when they previously tried to give away samples last Monday. As repentance, they’ve upped their freebies from 100,000 to 150,000. Personally, I would have liked them to send an employee to hand-wash my delicates. My lace underwear is far too expensive for the washer.

[thanks My Frugal Adventures!]

I tried this over a year ago. they didn’t help get any stains out. Believe me i tried them on all kinds of stains – I have two small boys. I will say this for Tide – when I sent them an email to complain, they sent me two coupons for free tide detergent :)

I hope I don’t have to try for over an hour again. :(

Do NOT use this product. Not only does it not release stains, it makes new ones. Ruined many of my white sheets and clothes with orange/brown stains. P&G gave me a check to compensate, but it didn’t really make up for everything.

Great, it’s already messed up, they will take a look at it shortly…lol

I just tried and they have the same message as last time….Sorry, something went wrong….

  10. #10 Connie Kristy |

I hope the product is better than their delivery of this freebie.

  11. #11 londa |

Keeps saying “sorry something went wrong”. I kept hitting back and submitting again, and after about 6 tries it said “you have already submitted an entry”?? Guess I’ll find out in a few weeks if I get it or not.

I’ve used this before. It didn’t get all the stains out but some were. As for my work uniform (think restaurant..ew) there is no hope to remove those stains. Not even good ol’ Tide.

Need to concentrare on a decent web site and not on how many people they can get to like them on facebook.Makes you want to rush right out and buy their product, doesn’t it?

Well, on the 8th or 9th try, I got a form to fill out, but when I hit “submit”, I got the error message again.

Cheapsk8: How much did they compensate you? Did they pay for the ruined laundry??

  19. #19 Corrina |

“We’re sorry, but something went wrong.”

Uh-huh. Screw this! It’s not worth my time or aggravation.

  20. #20 Amanda |

I tried it again (I’m a glutton for punishment, I know) and after refreshing the page a dozen times, it finally came up. You have to install an app before you can fill out the form, though.

  23. #23 Mary |

  24. #24 Terry |

  25. #25 joni |

i took ten times and my friend calling it a scam but then it finally worked hope the product works better than the site maybe I can get compensation for being called names by my friends :-) at least for all the pain and suffering lol

I get tp the part where it says click to enter the challenge and get your free sample. And that’s where it stops. I get a “request for permission” on my windows open line at the bottom, but I can’t see anything. Oh well. Maybe being secure on FB has something to do with this.

Amanda, I got about $60. It ruined a new set of sheets and some relatively new towels, shirts and socks. It further stained my hubby’s dingy work T-shirts and socks, but they were already stained from his work (construction), so we didn’t care about those. The sad thing is took me two packages of the stuff to figure out what was causing the stains. It dawned on me that the stains were about he same color as the Stain Release, so I did a Google search and found my answer. Bleach works a lot better than this stuff and it’s a lot cheaper.

  28. #28 Susan |

    I finally got through.

  29. #29 Connie |

OK. “Challenge” was the right word for this freebie…never got through and I’m done. Very frustrating this one. Night Goob. Night all.
