40 Free iTunes Songs

Too bad you don’t get to pick which 40 free iTunes songs you download. Southwest Airlines is celebrating its 40th birthday (really?) and has decided to give away 40 songs from various artists that I’ve never heard of. I feel old. I guess this means I have to drink prune juice and wear a tattered robe all day.

    I recognize The Band Perry, and Lenny Kravitz, but this looks like a shotty amount of songs that would be in the free bin. Thanks though.

    Actually, a lot of these songs are pretty good and it was worth the download. Thanks Goob for being an advanced musical genius and enlightening me to some new tunes.

    dont feel bad goob, i consider myself somewhat hip on the jam scene, and i only recognize a few of these artists. easy and cheap for sw to give away songs from artists with low to no recognition power. more well known bands will make you pay big bucks for that shiz. oh well.

    Yep, only recognized Lenny Kravitz. However, I don’t get out much.

    I think I’ll download it anyway, though. Some of my favorites bands I’ve found on a sampler.
