Free Energizer Coupon Booklet

ShopText is offering a free Energizer coupon booklet by texting BARE to 467467. Make sure to watch your spelling. My sources report that if you accidentally text BEAR, you might not like what’s sitting at your doorstep in six to eight weeks.

    I know this a stupid ? but I don’t understand how to do this TEXTING THING TO BEAR…I’m not good with teckno stuff to start with…So will someone PlEASE walk me through this..Energizers are a great freeby!HELP

    You don’t text to bear.. you text BARE to the phone number 467467
    But first go make an account at http://shoptext.com/

    1.go to the ‘shoptext’ link highlighted in blue.
    2.When the page pulls up,you will see a few tabs at the top.click on the tab labeled ‘get coupons & samples’.
    3.Click the orange register button
    4.fill in your cell number(note that this is a safe sight and that you will only get charged based off of your cell phone plan.if you have free text messages,than this is free)
    5.once you confirm your cell phone number (through a text they send you), they you should be able to fill in your address and other information so that they can send you the freebie.(note that they never send a bill)
    6.in this case you will text bare to the number 467467.they should respond asking you if you are 18 and everyonce in awhile they will ask you your name or address.you already have an account with them at this point though so most likely they will have everything they need to proceed with the order.
    7.after you order,you can go back to the shoptext website and go to the same tab mentioned above.in the top right corner with be a sign in where you will use your cell phone number as a username.after you are signed in,you can check your activities and see which items are on the way.(note that the list is vague and will not give you much product info so if you forgot what it was,it will just have to be a surprise when it gets here.

    i dont feel comfortable doing these shop text things. this is just another way for companies to follow our every move and know where we are at all times. and im not even trying to be paranoid.

    It doesn’t download anything onto your phone, so there’s no way for them to track you.

    Goob has a list of free sites you can send texts from your computer, but it seems they want a full phone number to send to and won’t text the short numbers that these guys want you to text to.
