    Anyone know of an effective product that can be put on the lawn to deter rabbits from munching it? I’ve tried Liquid Fence, blood meal, red pepper flakes — nothing I’ve tried seems to work very well.

    To AJB, let the poor bunnies keep munching for goodness sake, they will eventually go away on their own. Or better yet, buy seeds for lettuce, carrots in the corner of your property & they will surely leave the grass alone! :) Thanks Goob for the test kit!

    To AJB surround your garden with marigolds, rabbits don’t like them. That’s what me and my mom used to do

    This is actually pretty dang handy. My poor petunias are turning white because of low pH levels in the soil. My lawn is another story, but then again that’s why I rent.

    I currently use my dogs to tell what the PH is when they eat my plants

    Dog hair is a GREAT way to keep varmints out of your gardens. Also human hair. If you don’t have a dog that needs regular haircuts, ask at a groomers, or Petco or PetSmart to save the dog hair they trim for you. Sprinkle it between the rows. Nothing keeps rabbits out of a garden like the smell of wet dog hair. :)
