Free Packet of Flower Seeds

After liking Kudzu.com on Facebook, you can sign up for a free packet of flower seeds. I’m really hoping the mystery flowers aren’t kudzu. As a kid growing up in South Carolina, I used to be terrified of the plant because I thought it was quicksand. Then it started growing on the side of a neighbor’s house and I realized, oh, it’s like quicksand for buildings.

Thank heavens it is a plant! The only “kudzu” I know of is a comic strip character and I don’t want to grow a ton of him!!!

I’m from North Carolina, and I remember kudzu too. I always thought it was pretty, actually.

According to Alton Brown on the Food Network, you can actually eat kudzu. Very similar to other greens. I remember seeing it EVERYWHERE when we would visit Mississippi.
