Free $2 in CVS ExtraBucks

The first 500,000 people who pledge not to be a MoneyTrasher (don’t ask) can have $2 free CVS ExtraBucks added to their account. Only 33,000 people had taken the pledge when I did, so either not many people know about this or lots of folks can’t bring themselves to promising not to throw money away.

Free Coffee at Seven Eleven on September 29th

After being frustrated with not being able to get today’s free ice cream, I’m glad that there are Seven Elevens all over the place to at least get a free medium coffee TOMORROW from 7am to 11am.

Saves me walking by a few Starbucks, at least…

Free Crest Complete Toothpaste

I’ve been staying up way too late for the past … month? A midnight bedtime has somehow morphed into 4am and I think it all started when I ran out of toothpaste. I swore I had some in the cabinet, which led to me organizing it, and before I knew it I was watching the sun come up. But boy was my home (teeth aside) clean! Fingers crossed this free Crest Complete toothpaste from Vocalpoint one day prevents another major sleep pattern change for me.

[thanks to Kayla for posting this on our Facebook wall!]

Free Royal Canin Selective Discovery Box

My cat is not selective at all. Nope. The little bugger will fist-bump me, lay down, roll over, and wait for me to scratch his belly. Yes. A cat does all of that.

So for him to care what goes into that belly? Pfft. He’ll eat everything in this free Royal Canin Selective Discovery Box. And if he had a chance? He’d eat the box too.

Free Divine 9 Sample

Whomever thought that this free 15mL sample of Divine 9 is enough for “several uses” must have not seen how long my slip and slide is. I mean, seriously, how am I supposed to keep sliding for over 100 feet on only 15mL?

Oh wait, you’re supposed to use WATER for those things… Oops?

Free Better Homes and Garden Magazine Issue and Cookbook

Reason #4,632 why I love my day job: We have an executive chef on staff, and Friday’s are always cookie day.

I guess that means that I won’t have much use for this free Better Homes and Garden magazine issue and free cookies cookbook. But I think I should invest in a few more pairs of gym shorts…

Free Cold Stone Creamery Ice Cream (TONIGHT!)

EDIT: Of course, this didn’t go out in today’s newsletter for some reason…

Crap, the newsletter goes out in three minutes, so no time for a joke. In fact, I’m just gonna copy and paste the info for tonight’s free Cold Stone Creamery ice cream offer:

And we’re hosting the World’s Largest Ice Cream Social to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation on Tuesday, September 27th between 5 and 8 p.m. where customers will get a free taste of our Sprinkled with Wishes™ Creation™ – Sweet Cream Ice Cream, Brownie, Rainbow Sprinkles and Fudge!

Sounds delicious.

Free Mini Waffle Cone Sundae on 9/28 at Marble Slab Creamery or Maggie Moo’s

Times like this make me sad that I’ve moved from Illinois to the West Coast. I mean, take this free mini waffle cone for Waffle Cone Day tomorrow at Marble Slab and Maggie Moo’s from 3pm to 6pm. If I still lived in Illinois? There’s a participating Marble Slab location right down the road from my old apartment that I could have walked to! Now? There aren’t even any participating Maggie Moo’s locations either near me!

I guess this just means I’ll have to get another Starbucks instead. There’s one of those in a Starbucks next to a Starbucks that’s next to another Starbucks. Hey, I think I see David Walliams!

Free Cards Direct Greeting Card

Cards Direct is offering a free greeting card on their Facebook page. You can choose from a Birthday, Congratulations, or Thank You card and, if you’re like me, you went for the Congratulations. All my friends seem to be doing congratulatory worthy activities – getting married, having babies, finding fun-sized Snickers under their couches. I’m just gonna write something generic in my free card and send it to a friend I haven’t talked to in a while.
