Whenever I’m looking for ambient or random soundtrack styled music, I don’t really listen to soundtracks. I’d rather just pop on some Explosions in the Sky or maybe just go all avant garde with some Miles Davis or Coltrane.
But for some people who think that the cake isn’t a lie, I’m sure they’d enjoy this free Portal 2 soundtrack. Me? I’d rather stick with those who tell the truth shall die, or those who tell the truth shall live forever…
Everytime I see the free Proactiv commercials on TV, I laugh at them. I mean, sure, all of these TV offers are free–that is if you don’t include the darn shipping and handling and processing fees that make it the same cost as what you’d pay to buy it instores (or probably even more expensive).
So when I found this link for a free Proactiv Refining Mask, I had to pinch myself to make sure I wasn’t hallucinating. Then I had to close down Internet Explorer, because this link only really works in Firefox and Google Chrome.
After long days at work, I sometimes want to skip the whole “go to the gym” part and just take a long shower. So even though I love my cat’s shampoo, having things like this free Aveeno shampoo and conditioner sample around give me something else to mix it up with. I mean, who doesn’t like putting their pants on opposite leg first sometimes?
So for those who have iTunes, it looks like there’s this free People Magazine country playlist you can download. I’d download it, but after loading on some new albums that I’ve been told I need to listen to (Foster The People and Ed Sheeran, to be specific), it looks like there’s no free space on my iPod. Oh shucks…
I hate jumping through hoops. Seriously. I prefer freebies that are one-click and done. I’m impatient like that. Next, I’d prefer they anti-matter transport the freebies so that I don’t have to wait for the postman.
So when I found this free Aeroshot energy sample freebie, I was first elated. Then, after submitting myself for a code request, I had to wait 4 hours for that code, and then after that? I had to receive ANOTHER e-mail and click to confirm this freebie.
At this point, they’d better beam me my sample. Come on, Scotty, you can do it!
I’ve discovered my new secret to shiny and soft hair: my cat’s shampoo. Yup, no joke. The organic formula that we use for our cats makes my hair soft, amazing, and controls my frizz. That being said, maybe I can just swap this free Garnier Fructis color shield sample with their regular stuff and have them use it instead. That would be a little different.

So this free X-Acto blade is supposedly from their gold quality series. When I first saw that, I wondered if the gold buyers at the mall would buy it back from me too…

If it wasn’t 4:50am and I wasn’t watching old episodes of South Park off of Netflix right about now, I’m sure I’d have something witty to say about this free Mary Kay microdermabrasion sample. Instead? I’ve got nothing. Maybe if Mary Kay had better advertising than the back of cars I’d have something funny to say. Or maybe I’m just too focused on Cartman’s usual insanity…
Maybe I’m just lucking out in finding all of these random music samplers from one site or another, or maybe I’m just really itching for something new to listen to while waiting for the new Marianas Trench and Childish Gambino albums to come out. That being said, while this free October music sampler from The Muse doesn’t have Mike Garrigan’s “October” (or any of his new stuff either), I guess it’ll have to do.
Though no sampler or mix tape that comes out this month without Mike’s song on it is complete, if you ask me…
