Names of things make me laugh. Take this free thinagain sample. It implies that you were once thin in the first place. What if you’ve been fat since day one? I suppose they could just call it “soonthinner,” but I’m sure that Richard Bachman might have an issue or two with that one…

Whew, I thought that long three day weekends off from work are supposed to be relaxing! Not to say I didn’t have fun at my wife’s law convention wearing a fez and my bow tie and quoting Matt Smith for the better part of an hour, but something tells me that I didn’t quite catch on to what the Casablanca theme really was.

Maybe if I had one of these free fishing hooks I would have caught on all hook, line, and sinker…

Throughout high school, I’d wish people sitting around me good luck before tests by shouting “cumpleanos!” This Chevys Fresh Mex birthday freebie was a nice reminder that I didn’t pay attention at all in Spanish class.

DailySteals wants you to like them on Facebook and in exchange you’ll get a free 4-pack of Colgate Wisp mini-brushes. Their site is a little sluggish, so you might want to load the page in the background and then go do something else. Like Google what in the heck Colgate Wisp mini-brushes are.

Thank goodness these free Kleenex Cool Touch are unused. I don’t know, sharing Kleenex seems like something I’d be wary of.

This is one of those freebies where you have to also provide the name and address of a friend or family member. I used to find this annoying, but it dawned on me that this spreads the freebie joy to others. Plus you get to include a message on the freebie. I think my “Think of me when your nose is running!” is sweet and sincere.

EDIT: Jason’s Deli threatened legal action if I didn’t remove the image previously here. Apparently some yahoo printed it out and tried to use it as a coupon even though it had the name Ryan on it and expired in February 2011. The offer is still valid though! Everybody I know already has a free Redbook magazine subscription. It’s one of those magazines that never stops coming, so I started signing up my friends and family. I have so many unread issue lying around that I’m just going to glue them to my body and go as a giant Redbook magazine for Halloween.

You don’t have to do anything else beyond submitting your info on the first page. There are a bunch of “offers” that show up on the confirmation page – you can just skip those and close the window.

So apparently for the past year or so, there’s been this free Kid Rock album download for anyone with a military e-mail address. I think maybe we didn’t care to post it because we don’t care that Kid Rock is still making music.

I mean, really now. Its been like 10 years since he first came out with his music. Lil’ Wayne dropped the “Lil’”, I think he needs to drop the “Kid”…

This free Yves Saint Laurent Beauty sample looks like they just mashed letters together to get the product name. And judging from the Facebook photo … they claim it can make you fly? Sure, why not. I feel like starting a rumor today.
