Free Green River Ordinance Album

So while I was walking through my store’s Junior’s department today, I found myself watching the music videos as usual. I miss music videos. You could hear cool songs and know exactly who played them. Nowadays? Kids just Google the lyrics. Still effective, but if you hear the line “‘scuse me while I kiss this guy”, I doubt you’ll find the right song.

So when I heard Green River Ordinance’s “On Your Own” and finally realized that it wasn’t another track by The Avett Brothers, I was glad to find a free download of Green River Ordinance’s debut album. Yup, there’s that whole “give a tip” bar there, but that’s not required for this download.

The way I see it? Its something to tide me over until I can get Childish Gambino’s Camp…

    Nice freebie, Adam! Thanks! I’d never heard of this group before, but after downloading their album and giving it a listen, I’d recommend them to anyone who likes Third Eye Blind, Coldplay, Greenday and that genre. Very listenable-to. I went back and gave a $3 tip. Worth it to encourage more musicians to follow this model of giving their music away.

    Noisetrade is an awesome website. They may not often have the top musicians on their site, but there are often hidden gems like this. Thanks Adam!

    @Zach – Been a while, buddy! Good to see you still here. I definitely need to comb more on the Noisetrade site for more of the ones that are the up-and-coming musicians of better quality, so I might have to post a few more of those…

    But seeing I found a leak for Camp today, well, I might be occupied for a few weeks with that… :D
