Free Peacock Feathers

Free Peacock Feathers

EDIT: Aaaaaaand it’s dead.

Most of my friends are astronomically more creative than myself, so these free peacock feathers from East End Acres are for them. All you have to do is create an account, click “promo,” add the feathers to your cart then check out. Also, it shouldn’t ask for a credit card number since you’ll use the free promo cash they give all new members.

Now to figure out what to do with mine. Can I finger paint or draw stick figures on them? Because that’s pretty much all the artistic ability I posses. I don’t even know what noise peacocks make or else I’d stick them in my hair and pretend to be one, much to the annoyance of everyone within earshot!

  10. #10 Jenna McCoy |

They want to charge me too. Is there a promo code for this?

  11. #11 Laura |

The noise they make? Go step on a cat’s tail and magnify it about 20%. There you go.

  12. #12 michael |

Same as above, they are charging me $2.99

  13. #13 monica |

  23. #23 Adrienne |

Got it. It says $2.99, but if you add it to your cart, click past the shipping charges of $5.98, you get to a screen to use your 1000 points which apply 900 to your purchase, making it free. You never are asked to enter cc info. It said my feather is on it’s way. Now that’s an unusual freebie. My cat will love it :-) Thx HIF/Goob!!!

  24. #24 cr |

  25. #25 Jassie |

It does work. Just fill in your information then when you get to payment option check the box that say “Use 1000 points ($10.00)” and it covers the shipping and cost of the item.

  26. #26 Susan |

Worked Great!! Gee, I haven’t had peacock feathers since the 70′s………

  27. #27 Karen |

got it! this is a very strange freebie, but whatever!

  28. #28 Kendra |

Cats LOVE these. A local woman used to sell them just for that purpose.

  29. #29 Deb |

Got it. You can only get 1 but 1 is all I need for the mask I am making.

  30. #30 Sarah L |

It doesn’t work for me. I get all the way to the last payment screen and select to use my reward points and it says “The Requested Payment Method is Not Available.” Could this be due to the shipping charge of $8.56?($2.99 + $8.56 = $11.55; i.e. not free.)

  31. #31 Sarah L |

guess it just depends on where you live if they’re free or not.

  32. #32 butterfly_net2@yahoo.com |

Hmm….it says my payment method is not available either. :(

  33. #33 joni |

it charges some crazy amount like 5.61 for shipping one 2.99 feather but then it makes up some credit we didnt know we had about 1000 points deducts 861 and leaves us with a free feather and no more points LOVE This site THANKS!! :-)

  34. #34 Heather |

Is it one feather or many feathers? My shipping was a bit more so I ended up paying $0.98 witch is fine, but I’ll be annoyed if it is just one feather. LOL

  35. #35 Liam |

My free feather is on its way but I don’t think that poor peacock will have lots of female companions after giving so many of his feathers…?

  36. #36 Sarah L |

yeah, i have two email addresses so what i did was send an invite to my alternate email and place an order to a house-for-sale address in williamsville, ny where the company is located and it only charges $5.86; so, hopefully once the order ships i’ll be awarded 1000 more points for inviting a friend and then have enough to ship to my actual address.

  37. #37 Moira Stone |

It says payment is not available. Must be out?

Shoot, I have a friend who’s actually looking for peacock feathers. She’s doing a sculpture and has has trouble acquiring them. This would. Have been. PERFECT. 8|

  38. #38 Marla Logan |

And….it’s done. 6:52 Eastern there are no mo’ Peacock feathers to be had…

  39. #39 Monica |

    It just sold out.
I did one order under my name and was going to do another on behalf of my friend and when I signed in under the new account for her it shows that it is sold out.
I wonder if I got the last one?

  40. #40 Monica |

@Moira Stone – you can get peacock feathers all over eBay — and can probably Google “peacock farm” and buy them at those.

Laura’s absolutely right about the stepping on a cat’s tail remark for what peacocks sound like!! LoL!! When I was a teenager, I used to live next door to a place with some & it would freak out my friends the first time they’d hear that noise echoing thru the woods next to my home!! Great times =D

  57. #57 Monica |

I really wish I would start reading the comments before I go registering for something SOLD OUT! ;)

  58. #58 GG |

After 57 comments, perhaps the people running this site could have mentioned that the feathers were gone.

  59. #59 Leann |

FYI, to help you with following future offers…if you look at the top, the status of the offer is changed to “dead’. This is how they signify that something is sold out. Hope this helps! :)

  60. #60 sexyswan |

    SOLD OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  61. #61 Evelyn |

    Sold Out!

  62. #62 farrsan |

I would never try for this freebie – it’s inhumane to the birds so I hope this business goes under fast.

  63. #63 Maureen |

Just curious, how is collecting dropped feathers inhumane?

  64. #64 Nancy |

Darn, it’s dead!!!!! I so love peacock feathers, too. :( ((

  65. #65 W2BW |

I got mine! When it arrives, I’m going to use it to play with my cats!
