Random Update

I posted the following message on HIF’s Facebook and Twitter pages today, but I just wanted to repost it here as well.

I’m seriously peeved over how slow HIF has been running lately. It’s not cool and I’ve been working on it all week. Still, I want to apologize. Waiting 20 seconds for a website to load is something I wouldn’t do unless I owned the darn thing, so a giant thanks to everybody who has stuck around lately.

I’m still elbow-deep in code right now, but I hope to have everything sorted out as soon as possible.

    Ive been visiting a few times a day all week and it loads immediately when I visit! No problems on Firefox for me :]

    Not to worry. What is a little wait time? no big deal. It loads slow for me on FF, but all is good. I check many x per day as I troll around on lap top, You will get it fixed. good luck with that. signed, a loyal daily follower!

    I hope I don’t slow it down with this comment. Today I received 14 days worth of Align for free because of you. That is A LOT of money saved (well 15 or so dollars worth, but for a freebie????) Thank you so much for all you do! I can see it is obviously frustrating for you, but please never feel that you are letting us down because you give in so many other ways. Thank you!

    Thanks for all the words of support, everyone! You’re right that the page is loading a bit faster now and I’m glad to hear that it wasn’t even loading slowly for some of you to begin with! I’m still working on things (nothing’s ever easy, right?!), but I know I’ll get it figured out eventually.

    Just wanted to say thanks though.

    hey Goob. It’s not a problem, waiting for ur site to load a few seconds is better than it not loading at all! I have followed ur updates everyday for the last few years and u have helped me save a lot of $!
    Plus u r funny and that fact itself, is well worth waiting a few extra seconds.
