Free Music Videos

Have you ever complained that MTV and VH1 no longer show music videos like they used to “back in the day?” Congratulations, you’re old. No worries though, because MTV has an unexpectedly easy to navigate site with free streaming music videos. And I’m not just talking about new ones, but instead every video they ever played.

I love how companies are starting to do this. Sports Illustrated recently threw open their vault and now this. I just wish 60 Minutes would follow suit! And yes, I’m addicted to that show for some reason. Did I mention that I’m old as well?

Free Obama Stickers

Two thoughts about these free Obama stickers. First, do they not look like stamps? I guarantee you the chances of my slapping this on an envelope are no less than 43%. And second, did they just rush out and make these or are they merely lucky in that they made them prior to the election and can now give them away? It makes me wonder if there aren’t any McCain victory stickers floating around out there.

In fact, this reminds me of a story on 60 Minutes years ago regarding what happens to those victory hats and t-shirts when a professional sports team loses in their championship game. They send them overseas to third world countries as donations! Somehow I doubt MoveOn would have done the same though.

Free Garden & Gun Magazine

What kind of articles will I find once my free Garden & Gun magazines start arriving? When I think of gardens, I think of flowers. When I think of guns, I think of hunting. Are people hunting in their gardens now? I know rabbits can be a bit of a problem, but geez. I really hope my neighbor isn’t decked out in camouflage the next time I go pluck a few tomatoes, especially because I’m still dressed in my bald eagle Halloween costume.

Free Ashtray

Philip Morris is giving away a free ashtray if you use code LNM1864 and sign up for their mailing list. Their site is encrypted and secure and I mention that because you have to provide the last four digits of your social security number to prove you are older than 21. If you don’t feel comfortable doing that, I understand, but I personally don’t mind. I’m pretty sure a raccoon got in my trash a few weeks ago and stole my identity already, so what do I have to lose?

edit: You can try using LNM4195 as well.

Free Give Wildlife A Break Sticker

We’re just a few hours away from making all those political bumper stickers obsolete. I guess you could try and peel them off, but I’m a fan of slapping something new on top. It’s quick, it’s easy, and best of all it requires less than a few seconds of my time. But what if you don’t have another bumper sticker handy? Well, you could always go for this free Give Wildlife A Break bumper sticker. It might not be as flashy as a HeyItsFree.net bumper sticker, but it’ll do in a pinch.

Free Circle K Coffee Today!

In yet another update to our election day freebies post, I’ve just found out that many Circle K locations are giving away free 16oz coffees from 6am-6pm today. So when you’ve drank your Starbucks, go snag a second free coffee so that you can stay up all night and watch the election results.

Welcome New Readers!

I haven’t the slightest where all the new readers are coming from today, but I do know the site is being a bit sluggish. I’m tweaking the backend and cutting some of the images that load, so hopefully that’ll speed things up soon. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to vote and then enjoy a ton of election day freebies! :D

Free Teasta Tea

You know what’s better than a freebie? Two freebies! If you use the code TRYME, you can get two free tea samples sent to you. They have eight different flavors you can choose from and I personally went with the vanilla and mint options. You’ll have to add the samples to your cart and hit “checkout” as if you were purchasing them, but once you enter in the code above, the price will drop to zero and you’ll be good to go.

Free Bottle Opener & Sticker

I think this free bottle opener & sticker offer is for technicians only, but I still signed up for it. Sure, that might not be my day job, but when the wifi goes down in my house or a new piece of electronics needs programming, who do you think gets tasked with the job? And now thanks to this freebie, the next time I’m pulling my hair out after failing to reconfigure our home network, I’ll be able to quickly open a few beers and…problem solved!

Free Betty Crocker Warm Delights Minis

A while back, Shaynon did a freebie review about these Betty Crocker’s free Warm Delights Minis and I was always bummed that I never signed up for this freebie the first time it went around. But now I can’t wait to do as her little sister did and basically make a mini cake out of this. It should arrive a little before Christmas as well, which is always a time of the year where it’s hard to find a good dose of chocolate! (/end sarcasm)

UPDATED - Election Day Freebies

Bad news: My previous election day freebie post is no longer current and up to date.

Good news: That’s because there are way more freebies being given away on election day than previously thought!

Awesome news: Only half of the offers require an “I Voted” sticker! Unless otherwise noted, you can use the honor system and tell them that you have already voted. Many voting locations will give away multiple stickers, however, so if you did vote early maybe have a friend who is voting tomorrow snag a few extra for ya :D

Babeland - Ahh. Ok. Um. How about a free sex toy? Haha, wow. If you live in NY, LA, or Seattle, then you’re good to go, in more ways than one I guess.
Ben & Jerry’s - Free scoop of ice cream between 5-8pm.
Books A Million - Get a free cup of coffee. Must have an “I Voted” sticker. I can’t find a link for this offer, but multiple people have reported getting an e-mail from BAM stating this offer is legit.
California Tortilla - Free taco, but you must have an “I Voted” sticker. (DE, MD, DC, PA, VA, WV)
Chick-fil-a - I’d call ahead to make sure you’re local store is participating in this one, because only about 75% are from what I can tell. Anyway, get a free chicken sandwich if you TURN IN your “I Voted” sticker to them. There are a few locations that are also running a promotion on Nov. 5 for another free chicken sandwich if you bring in your political yard sign.
Daily Grill - Free Happy Hour appetizer, which starts around 4pm. Must have an “I Voted” sticker or a ballot stub. (CA, DC, MA, MD, OK, OR, TX, VA, WA).
Krispy Kreme - Free “Patriotic” donut if you have an “I Voted” sticker.
New Look Tattoo Removal - Haha, if you live in Dallas and have your “I Voted” sticker, you can get a free laser tattoo removal session from 9am-9pm.
Shane’s Rib Shack - Get an entire free meal consisting of three chicken tenders, fries, and a coke. Must have an “I Voted!” sticker.
Starbucks - Free small coffee if you tell them you voted.

Other Regional Offers - SlickDeals has a list of regional freebies similar to the tattoo removal offer if you scroll down a little. Mad props to Guru of New for a few heads up on these as well! Anybody else know of some that I’ve missed?

Free Family Fun Magazine Subscription

EDIT: Hope you got this when I posted it, because it’s dead now!

This free Family Fun magazine subscription should come in handy the next time you’re looking for something to do on Family Fun Night. There’s only so many times you can play Scrabble and argue with your folks that “kwyjibo” is most certainly a word!

Free Starbucks Coffee

I just got word that during tonight’s broadcast of Saturday Night Live, Starbucks will unveil that they’ll be giving away a free tall cup of coffee if you vote this coming Tuesday. And yes, they actually used the word “tall” in their ad, not grande or whatever the crap they call tall in the store.

So the current tally of election day freebies: free chicken meal, fries, coke, tall coffee, donut, and ice cream. Holy crap, why isn’t every day election day?

Election Day Freebies

EDIT: Make sure you check out the updated list of election day freebies!

I’m not sure if you’ve heard or not, but apparently this upcoming Tuesday is kind of important or something. We’re having an electrocution? No, that’s not it. An election! Yeah, whatever that is, I’m still not sure. I wish they’d do a little more advance publicity for this thing. At the very least, it’d be nice if the news mentioned it once or twice, geez.

Anyways, it’s so big, that a few eateries are giving out freebies. If you show up with your “I Voted!” sticker at any participating Krispy Kreme, they’ll give you a free red, white, and blue donut. Take the same sticker to any Ben & Jerry’s between 5-8pm and you’ll get a free scoop of ice cream. Then if you’re still not satisfied, head on over to Shane’s Rib Shack (who have way more locations than I would have ever guessed) and get an entire free meal of three free chicken tenders, fries, and a coke. Of course, some might say you should get the meal first and then the desserts afterward, but my response to them is always “mom and dad, I’m an adult now! If I want to ruin my appetite, I will!”

Also, if you simply pledge to vote, you can download the following songs thanks to Rock The Vote.

  • Maroon 5 - Not Falling Apart
  • Sara Bareilles - Many The Miles
  • Phantom Planet - Dropped
  • Raining Jane - Incline
  • Menomena - Wet and Rusting
  • Michael Franti and Spearhead - Hey World (Don’t Give Up Version)
  • Ry Cuming - Home
  • The Duke Spirit - This Ship Was Built To Last
