Freebies and free stuff

I had deja vu when I found this free Kotex Natural Balance liners just now. Maybe its because I had a different link for them a few weeks ago? Form worked for me again, so maybe it’ll work for everyone else too…

When I got the mail this evening and unloaded the latest issue of Martha Stewart Living that I’ll probably never read, it occurred to me that I seem to find all of the free magazines that I’m just not interested in. And then, I came home and I found this link for two free magazine subscriptions of your choice: http://www.neamag.com/2011FREE. Sure, I was a little frustrated that I had to copy and paste, but seeing I could actually find some magazines there that interested me? Well, its about time that I find something intellectually stimulating to take me away from playing Angry Birds on my bus rides to and from work…

I wish I had a cool dog to go alongside my cool fat cat. I could have both of them roll over at the same time. I could then get a little saddle for my fat cat to ride around on his back on. Or maybe I’ll just get a corgi so they’ll be about the same size.

Needless to say, if I had a dog I’d like The Honest Kitchen on Facebook for a free pet food voucher that I could take into a participating retailer. Maybe instead I’ll just grab a sample for one of the homeless people I see near work. Tis the season, right?

I’ll tell you, I wish that I had a few of these free hot drink at Pilot Travel center coupons a few months ago when I was traveling from Illinois out to Seattle. Lord knows it would have come in handy.

Although, I wouldn’t have as many crazy rest stop stories if that was the case. Like how cool it is that the state of Iowa has free wifi in all of their rest stops! So do some of the ones in Utah!

I love freebies like these free Keebler Jumbo Sticks that are in Spanish. It makes something so simple seem exotic… even if it is just the same exact product.

I keep telling myself that I want to get back to the gym. I was close to convincing myself too tonight, to be honest, and then I sat down and watched The Captains on Netflix. Yes, I could have watched it at the gym with the wifi there, but I couldn’t eat dinner that way.

So maybe getting this free Vega Sport sample pack will help motivate me. Or maybe it’ll just give me something to consume instead of dinner then next time I decide to watch 90 minutes of William Shatner flagullating his ego…

So while the newsletter will get to a lot of people by 3pm EST, I can only hope that someone logs in and catches this free Bruegger’s coffee today till 2pm. If not? Well, I guess I can blame it on not having enough coffee to wake me up, right?

Facebook freebies are always interesting ones. Take this free Billy Boy condom one. Its fairly simple: you like them, they send you a freebie. Right? Well, if you read the fine print, you have to keep liking them for 60 days. So while you can easily delete this silly like, well, you’re stuck liking a condom page for 2 months.

Let’s just hope your s.o. understands… So if you’re single? You miiiiight want to steer clear of this one, or have a pretyped explanation ready to go. I haven’t been on the dating seen in quite some time, but I don’t think that having condom webpages liked or linked is really a turn on or a pick up line. Just sayin’…

So in honor of Veteran’s Day Weekend, there’s now some free entry to many national parks this weekend, November 11-13. I’d find one to go to out here if it wasn’t so cold outside and I didn’t just want to curl up with a cup of hot cocoa and watch some Beavis and Butthead on my days off. Yup, that’s what retail makes me feel like…
