Freebies and free stuff

When my sister was living with us, there was always shampoo around. In fact, there was so much crap in that bathroom to moisturize, color, straighten, curl, and other such hair related terms, that I was often confused.

I don’t know about you, but all I really want for my showers, is something to make me clean. I’m not very picky… But, now that she’s gone, there isn’t really anyone around that’s so obsessive about showering twice a day to keep the basic shampoo/conditioner stock going, so it’s always nice to see these free shampoo samples hanging around on the internet. Now, if only we could manage to keep the drain clean…(showers shared by many people are pretty gross, eh?)

Do you, or someone you know snore? If so, I’m going to sympathize more with the people who live with the snorers. I myself (being a teenager, therefore living at home) have a room right across the hall from my parents, and my dad is quite the snorer. In fact, everyone in the house has been moving away from him to random couches lately… He could do with some of these free nasal strips so the rest of us could get some sleep once in a while.

So. This has been my first post. Wasn’t so bad, eh? Well… I’ll be getting better with this soon.

Hey All! Shaynon here with another freebie review just for you! Today’s freebie of choice “Golden Harvest Chips.” This offer was posted back on August 3rd and I received mine somewhere towards the end of September. It came in the standard cardboard packaging as all the “can be squished” foods come in.

After opening up the package, I found that it contained two samples of the chips. The size of the bag was like what those fun size packs are. One was for the “Tomato Basil” and the other was “Banana.” I just opened the Tomato Basil first and it smells a lot like pizza. The chips are paper thin and very crunchy. Ok, here it goes. Tastes a lot like a pizza combo. Not bad. Eat a few more. Ok, EWW. To me they have a very bad after taste. Almost cardboardish. I thought the idea was to taste like a chip, not the packaging it came in.

Enough of these. On to the Banana chips. They smell like bananas, which is a good sign. But as we know from the pizza chips, smells can be deceiving. Upon further tasting it’s very good. Had a hint of vanilla in it also. No after taste with these. I ate the whole bag and nothing but smileys here.

Ok, so two freebies; one good, one bad. I can deal with that. I would like to try the other kinds just to see what they are like. They include Vegetable Medley and Apple Cinnamon. I looked for these chips at Wal-Mart and they are selling for $2.88 for a 6 oz bag. And seeing as the freebie is a 1 oz bag, I don’t think that is too bad.

Hello everyone! Shaynon here. This is hif’s first written freebie review. It’s a little different from the video ones, but still the same idea.

Okay, today I am reviewing the “Kashi snack”. This was posted back around August 28th. I choose the “Oatmeal Dark Chocolate Cookie” as my snack and received mine on September 20th.

It came in cardboard packaging with the cookie inside. I was surprised at the size of the cookie. It wasn’t a little sample bite-sized cookie, as I expected it to be, but instead was actually pretty big. The texture of the cookie was moist, no dry freebie here. And you can actually see the little grains in the cookie sticking out. It has all your healthy stuff in it along with chocolate chips and walnuts. If I hadn’t of known it was health food I would have never guessed. It tasted like a chocolate cookie with oats with no bad aftertaste or anything.

The next test was on my sister. She hates everything! But I gave her a piece of it and she loved it. Proof to me that it’s good stuff. I went to the store later on to purchase a box of these. I ventured into the organic isle where the Kashi food are kept as if they are prisoners. (these cookies don’t belong among the soy). The box contained 6 cookies for 3.58$. Not bad. Still the same size and for some reason even better. So yes, the Kashi Cookie is one to eat!

I’m not really sure what this free sample from EAS is, but it’s sure to be nothing short of awesome. The company is called Energy-Athletics-Strength, so maybe you’ll just get all three in a bottle. If that’s true, then this would certainly be in the runnings for the greatest free sample ever. Let’s keep our fingers crossed then. (Don’t be too disappointed if you get a sample powder of Myoplex in your mail though.)

I’m not sure that naming your food product ‘Monkey Brains’ is the best marketing strategy, but I suppose it did attract my attention. I don’t even like oatmeal that much, but surprisingly I kind of want to try this. Maybe the fruity flavors will make oatmeal taste good, which is probably better than the half pound of brown sugar or cup of syrup I usually have to pour in. We’ll see how I enjoy my free sample of Monkey Brains. (Look for the link on the bottom right.) If anything I’ll put to good use the free stickers that those brains come along with.

Supposable if you register with this site you get a free pet travel bowl, but once you go in to register it says you’re going to get a free shirt. Either way you’re getting something free, so who can complain. I sure hope I’m getting a free pet travel bowl, because I can tell you that they are one of the handiest things ever invented for a pet. You go on a nice hiking trip or to the beach and the next thing you know that darned beagle is panting again. Well whip out your trusty travel bowl and the day is saved!

A few hundred years ago we didn’t even know about germs. Nowadays we are downright terrified of the little guys. We do all that we can in the seemingly endless fight of fending off the pesky microscopic invaders. And yet to no avail, for we still keep getting sick. Well now it’s time to kick it up a notch and put some heavy duty gear into our arsenal. I’m talking about free Clorox Disinfecting Wipes. They kill 99.9% of germs. That only leaves .1% of germs left to fight another day! They don’t even stand a chance against us now.

We all know about Tylenol and its perks. Pain relief. Fever reducer. All that good stuff. But let me tell you, this Tylenol is something special. Rapid relief. Rapid release. Look at all those quick R words. I feel relieved just reading about it. Those witty Tylenol writers put us heyitsfree’ers to shame. Oh well. At least I have some Tylenol Rapid Release Gels to ease the pain.

We all aspire to have the pearly white teeth a’ la Tom Cruise. Well, with this free Aquafresh White and Shine toothpaste, not only will you have white teeth, you’ll have teeth that shine. You’ll be able to blind those around you and go spelunking without a flashlight! Never again will you stumble in the dark on your way to the fridge for a late night snack. Toothpaste has never been so useful.
