‘Animals / Pets’ Freebies

Free Rachael Ray Nutrish Dog Food

There’s yet another free Rachael Ray Nutrish dog food sample available, which has me thinking: is all of her food meant for dogs? Has anybody stopped to consider that her show was never intended for humans in the first place? I smell HIF’s next investigative expose!

Free IncrediBites Dog Food

The page for Walmart’s free IncrediBites dog food has a picture of a dog licking a guy’s face and…no thanks. After seeing what my dogs eat while I’m not around, I’ll pass on that fun-filled bonding experience.

[thanks Laura]

Coupon: Free Halo Dog Food

Halo gave away free cat food back in January, but now it’s Fido’s turn to get some free Halo dog food. All you have to do is sign up for their newsletter and then you’ll instantly get an e-mail with a link to print the coupon. If you’re not sure where Halo pet food is sold, use this link. And this time, let’s see if we can avoid the whole “Ellen Degeneres owns this company” debate!

Free Dog Leash & Shipping from Snapfish

EDIT: They ran out of leashes sometime late Monday morning. Seeing as there are four days before this offer ends, I’ll keep checking their site to see when/if they get any more back in stock.

Between now and 02/19, you can get a free dog leash (with no shipping charge) from Snapfish, which is a retail value of $25.99. In order to score the freebie, here’s what to do:

  • Create a new Snapfish account
  • Click ‘your account’ then ‘redeem’ next to the dog leash offer
  • Search for ‘leash’ then build your custom dog leash
  • Begin the checkout process and use code PRESDAY to knock off the shipping charge

Viola! Free photo dog leash! Here’s a photo of my confirmation page, which shows up after you enter your shipping & payment info. The only downside to this offer is that you’ll now have no excuse not to take your dog for a walk. I once tried training my older dog to take my younger pup on a walk, but that resulted in what can only be classified as a “catastrophic failure.”

Free World’s Best Cat Litter

Free World's Best Cat Litter

As if being able to print $10 in coupons wasn’t enough, you can also print out a rebate for free World’s Best cat litter. The rebate is limited to one per mailing address, but if you have a work address… I’d never heard of this brand, but it looks like Petco and Petsmart sell it, among others.

Does cat litter melt snow or clean up oil spills? I always get it and salt confused, which typically leads to an embarrassing moment when I’m on a dinner date.

Free ASPCA Wristband

Free ASPCA Freebies

I can’t get over the stock images on this free ASPCA wristbands website. That dog so wants to eat the wristband – just let him already! But are the images drawn to scale? If so, I’ve either got the world’s tiniest wrists or the world’s largest dogs. No matter how you slice it, I’m angling to win a darn prize here.

Coupon: Free Halo Cat Food

If you sign up for their newsletter, you’ll get an email with a coupon for two free cans of Halo cat food.

Based on their name, I assumed their food would turn my pets into sweet, little angels. Not the case. I’m still finding beer hidden in my their closets and last weekend, they threw a raging kegger while I was gone overnight. If this is what having kids is like, I think I’ll pass.

Free Food for Adopted Dogs

If you happened to adopt a dog in 2009 and have the paperwork to back it up, you can score a free month’s supply of food from Pedigree. Coincidentally, I’m looking for a new home myself and would love to be taken in. I make a great companion in bed, I bark at mailmen, and I’ve been known to eat any leftover food from dinner.

I’m still working on the housebroken part.

Free Natural Nibbles Pet Treats

These free Natural Nibbles pet treats will come in one of four flavors:

  • chicken liver
  • beef liver
  • salmon treat
  • 100% beef liver

Wait, then what’s in the first beef liver? Not that my dogs will care, they’ll eat anything. It could be 99% cardboard and they’d devour it without a second thought.

And fine, I’ll admit it: I spent 20 seconds wondering why they used “treat” instead of “liver” for the salmon flavor.

Free Bubbles n’ Beads Pet Shampoo

One of the queries for free Bubbles n’ Beads pet shampoo is “what’s your dog’s biggest problem?” The final option is “tear stains,” which leads me ask this: what in the world are people doing that’s causing their pet’s faces to be stained with tears? Take it from a guy who cries at least three hours a day – it takes a lot of crying in order to stain your face!
