1. Become a fan of Planters on Facebook and print two $1.50 coupons. You can hit back on your browser to print the second coupon after the first finishes.
2. Buy two bags of Planters Trail Mix for $1.99 each (they’re on sale).
3. Use the two coupons you printed and then use the $1 Planters coupon found in the March Walgreens coupon booklet.
4. Final cost should be free.

It’s important that you always use the manufacturers coupons before using the Walgreens coupons. Otherwise, the computer gets confused and you end up paying some money. You’d think they could find some old NASA computers from the 60s that helped put guys on the moon to handle the basic math. Heck, I’m pretty sure my watch from the 3rd grade could come through in a pinch.

This Daylight Saving business is really messing me up. I overslept today plus I was late returning my Redbox last night. Sure, I was three hours late in both cases, but focusing on that would be ignoring the greater fact that I want to blame my sleepiness on Congress!

Remember the post I made last week about possible free Nabisco cookies? Well, it’s March 1, and you can now print a coupon for free cookies. The fine print says you have to also buy a gallon of milk and a second pack of cookies in order for the coupon to work, which kind of stinks. But then again, it’s free cookies, so…woo!

A giant ad prints after the coupon, so if you’re fast, you can shut down your printer after the coupon has come out and save a little ink.

I find it funny that HIF has almost double the number of fans as Nabisco. If I understand transitive relations, and there’s absolutely no evidence to suggest I do, then that means if HIF were a brand of cookies, people would be eating more of them than Oreos. I feel oddly honored.

I love it when big events fall on my birthday, like the Super Bowl this year, as it helps me remember when it is. Although, it’s bittersweet as I’m a Green Bay Packers fan and dang it, they should be playing in this game!
