A little birdie (press release) has notified me that at 2pm EST there will be free Better Homes and Gardens scented wax cubes available on Facebook. I’m told supplies are limited, which sounds an awful lot like there will only be one or maybe five thousand freebies, so you’ll have to be fast.

I normally wouldn’t post this ahead of time, but geez, the freebies are dead today. I was up at 7(!) and this is the first worthwhile thing I’ve found. The Freebie Gods owe me a few hours of sleep! In the meantime I’m off to waste time on Twitter and Facebook.

In order to get this free Stella Artois chalice, first you need to promise never to call it a glass. Because apparently it’s not a glass, despite being made out of glass and looking like a glass.

But fine, whatever, I just want another container for my beer. If you do as well, call 1-800-692-4254 and follow the prompts until you’re transfered to a representative. It took me a few tries to get through, but it’s pretty easy to keep trying.

Oh, the offer is void in TX. *shrugs*

Free 2012 Cigar Calendar

If you join PipesandCigars’ mailing list, you’ll receive a free 2012 cigar calendar. I know the signup page doesn’t say anything about a free calendar, but this recently published press release sure does. At first I was happy they did all the hard work of finding this freebie for me. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized I actually like it when freebies are buried in the dregs of the Internet. Digging through them all makes me feel like an archeologist, which explains why I walk around with an Indiana Jones whip all day.

I keep finding a ton of these calendar freebies, sort of like this free CBM 2012 calendar. But you know what? I don’t recall receiving any of them. Maybe if I had one of them, I could keep track of when I signed up for all of the other ones so I’d know when to expect them.

I’ve never been a UFC fan, so I guess this free UFC poster isn’t aimed towards my demographic. I was even one of those rare guys who grew up in the 80s and never enjoyed wrestling. I didn’t understood the appeal of fake fighting when there were flesh and blood family members in the other room who you could body slam for real! To summarize, I’m eternally grateful my siblings still love me, let alone talk to me.

I never thought much of traveling to Canada. Not until I moved to Washington, that is. Now? Its like when I was in Florida and people talked about going to Puerto Rico – minus the fact you can’t just drive there quickly in a few hours.

So even though I’m closer to Vancouver than Ontario, maybe I’ll get some use out of this free 2012 Ontario travel calendar after-all. Of course, I’d need some vacation time for that first…

EDIT: It doesn’t seem to let us select an option to pick these up in the store, however Staples have in-store kiosks. So you could go to Staples, make the card there, and then have them print out while you wait.

So if you happened to miss our post card offer for Staples and still need some sort of holiday card? Might I suggest this coupon for 20 free 5×7 Staples photo cards that expires on November 19th? If you pick it up in store, the only thing you’re out is postage for 20 family members.

Unless you ship them all C.O.D., that is. Oh come on, admit it, you know there’s that one uncle you want to try that on…

I played Angry Birds Seasons for two and a half hours the other night. Yup. Two and a half hours. And believe it or not, I’m still not done with it! Its enough to make me a little angry.

So when I saw this free Biosecurity for Birds 2012 calendar, I wondered what might make those birds angry. Maybe if they weren’t biosecure, they’d be angry. Or maybe they just don’t want bacon or ham to go with their eggs. They’re kosher!

I get four or five letters from them throughout the year asking for … well, I have no idea as I always throw them away. I like to imagine they’re the only food my trash can will eat and then I make “nom nom nom” sounds as I toss them out.

Tonight while watching TV, I happened to notice this free coupon for a 2oz sample of Benjamin Moore Paint at your local Benjamin Moore dealer. Then, I got to wondering what I could do with 2 oz of paint. My short list included black paint to give my cat real tiger stripes, yellow paint to outline my body on the concrete outside my office window 3 floors down at work, white paint to change myself to a better parking space in my complex, or red paint to create a target on the wall to throw darts at while at work.

I’m leaning towards some yellow paint to confuse tourists…

There’s something about me and free pens. I’m still a loyal fan of those Uniball Super Ink pens thanks to their giveaway in 2010. Seriously, those pens are awesome. I sign my name on any contract I can just for an excuse to use the pen. At this point, I’m pretty sure my dog has Power of Attorney over me.
