I call bologna on this free Better Homes and Gardens magazine subscription. I’ve been receiving this magazine for months now. Yet no matter how often I throw my issues against the wall, they never seem to better my home. In fact, they make it look like I just throw trash everywhere.

I guarantee this dies fast, so good luck. Also, make sure you uncheck the box at the bottom where it asks if you want to join some opinion survey site.

Martha Stewart decided her Living magazine wasn’t enough, so she’s create a new free Everyday Food magazine subscription. She really likes those basic names.

Head Honcho: So, Martha, we need a name for your magazines. What kind of hobbies do you have?

Suit Man #2: Perfect! Martha Stewart Living has a great ring to it. What’s your thought on food?

There’s a new free Martha Stewart Living magazine subscription offer available from RewardsGold. I guess nothing says living like making a table centerpiece out of pine cones and potpourri.

There is a short survey you have to take as well as four breakfast food reviews, but those only have to be 25 words long. Have fun with it. They really don’t care what you write.

Every time I post a Freebies Received entry, people comment asking where I get all my magazines. The first is at Recycle Bank, which is why I post those free codes from time to time. The other is from RewardsGold. In fact, they have five free magazine subscriptions currently available.

As you may have noticed from the recent Freebies Received posts, I stopped getting free Wall Street Journal newspapers a few months back. Well luckily my local recycling station will soon be getting plenty more because the free 26 week Wall Street Journal subscription offer has returned.

You have to take a two page survey on business lunches and wallets. I don’t even go on business lunches, unless you could sitting in the booth of a burger joint while surfing HIF on my laptop. If so, then I’m a regular Rockefeller.

When I got the mail this evening and unloaded the latest issue of Martha Stewart Living that I’ll probably never read, it occurred to me that I seem to find all of the free magazines that I’m just not interested in. You know, Goob and I don’t post many books. That’s not to say we don’t read, but most of these book freebies nowadays are for eBooks or downloadable content that’s a dime a dozen. Sometimes, however, I come across something like this free pdf book on negotiation that’s just way too good to pass up. Maybe I could use what I learn in this book to e-mail the site and negotiate getting a print copy of the book? Or maybe I’ll just negotiate a bigger slice of the pie. Mmm… pie…

American Family is offering another freebie this week – a free Good Housekeeping magazine subscription. After you submit your info on the first page, you’ll want to close the window/tab. The “free offers” that pop up on the 2nd+ pages are pointless and not necessary. Kinda like my degree in History. Or pants.

Seriously, don’t even bother skipping through the offers. Just submit your info, let the next page load, and then bounce out.

Everybody I know already has a free Redbook magazine subscription. It’s one of those magazines that never stops coming, so I started signing up my friends and family. I have so many unread issue lying around that I’m just going to glue them to my body and go as a giant Redbook magazine for Halloween.

You don’t have to do anything else beyond submitting your info on the first page. There are a bunch of “offers” that show up on the confirmation page – you can just skip those and close the window.

I had Bridal Guide, Islands, and Wood Magazine, among others. Wood magazine wold be infinitely more interesting if each issue was hand carved from an old pirate ship.
