Music Freebies

Day 8 of December Freebies

Aw crudbuckets, I almost forgot todays Christmas freebies. Things were a little (haha, try insanely) hectic at Goob Headquarters today, but thankfully I now have alcohol and there’s an hour of Community and Parks & Rec starting soon. It doesn’t take much to make me happy.

The free Christmas song is “Deck the Halls” by Twisted Sister while the 5 point Disney Movie Rewards code is 25DOC846DBD9.

Day 7 of December Freebies

I accidentally marked yesterday’s post as Day 7 even though my calendar app had a giant 6 on it. I’m super great at my job.

Today’s free Christmas song is “O Holy Night” by Leigh Nash while the daily 5 point Disney Movie Rewards code is 25DOCVBZQ987. But I don’t think that’s enough, so how about a bonus code of KDAHFKH6780?! Hey, I am super great at my job!

Day 6 of December Freebies

Today’s free Christmas song is “Angels We Have Heard on High” by Bayside while the daily 5 point Disney Movie Rewards code is 25DOC56FBX71. And … I got nothing.

Day 5 of December Freebies

Today’s one free Christmas song is “Greensleeves” by Mannheim Steamroller. You’ll notice there were two songs released over the weekend as well – “Adeste Fideles” by Bing Crosby and “My Dear Acquaintance [A Happy New Year]” by Regina Spektor. And if that’s not enough free holiday music for you, here’s a free 10 track album via People magazine.

As for the daily 5 point Disney Movie Rewards code, it’s 25DOCFNC9DNA. And for lunch, I’ll take the grilled chicken salad. Oh, are you not taking my order?

[thanks to @leahcphilips for that People music sampler!]

Day 2 of December Freebies

Todays one free Christmas song via Amazon is “Peace on Earth” by Brian Wilson. Meanwhile the daily Disney Movie Rewards code is 25DOC83NF8AH. So…

It’s day two and I’ve already run out of things to say about these. Things should be really interesting by Day 15.

Free Christmas Music Each Day This Month

25 Days of Free Christmas Songs

Like the Disney promo, Amazon is giving away one free Christmas song each day through Christmas. I guess now that we have two sites doing daily promos this month, I’ll make a single post containing both of them each day. Anybody know of other sites doing similar offers?

Today’s song is “Ave Maria” by Celtic Woman. That’s nice of Celtic woman to sing for us. I’m curious how many of them they convinced to participate. All of ‘em? Even the ones who don’t have a voice?

Free Amazon $2 MP3 Credit

In order to get your free Amazon $2 MP3 credit, simply follow that link and use code STUDYBRK by the end of today. I’m not certain whoever came up with this code should stop studying though. They totally misspelled break. How do you forget all the vowels?

Free Live Phish Show

I never got into Phish. Sure, I like gefilte fish, which takes a lot to like sometimes, but I just never really did Phish. If I feel like taking the time, though, I should probably just listen to this free live Phish show at least once, though. Just for the Radiohead cover.

Free Subway Workout Mix

It looks like Subway is giving me the same cue I felt when I finished watching Muppets Take Manhattan tonight and pigging out for dinner. Yup. Time to work out. And what better way to work out than to this new free Subway workout mix.

If I had been more awake and not as tired, I would have recognized Dr. Crusher in the movie. I mean, wow, talk about a random actress in that role!

Free Green River Ordinance Album

So while I was walking through my store’s Junior’s department today, I found myself watching the music videos as usual. I miss music videos. You could hear cool songs and know exactly who played them. Nowadays? Kids just Google the lyrics. Still effective, but if you hear the line “‘scuse me while I kiss this guy”, I doubt you’ll find the right song.

So when I heard Green River Ordinance’s “On Your Own” and finally realized that it wasn’t another track by The Avett Brothers, I was glad to find a free download of Green River Ordinance’s debut album. Yup, there’s that whole “give a tip” bar there, but that’s not required for this download.

The way I see it? Its something to tide me over until I can get Childish Gambino’s Camp
